Why are people talking about Beady Eye in a NGHFB gig thread? Fuckin' hell, stop it... it's always the same discussion, the same arguments, the same shit. Enjoy the fucking music and stop arguing! I'm quite sure that liamgallagher1992 can avoid writing sneaky references at Beady Eye where there's no need to bring them up. Yes, this post of yours was uncalled (as a few other ones in other threads, unfortunately) and its only result was to spark again the usual Noel vs Beady Eye blabber. It wasn't done to bring about a Beady Eye vs Noel debate. For the record I prefer Chasing Yesterday to either album from Beady Eye. It just seems to me most of the fan base is now split into the main catergories of - 1. Religiously love Noel, when bigging up Noel absolutely nail Liam I.e noel is now the better frontman, singer, has a better band, doesn't need LG. LG is washed up and untalented 2. Love Liam. Admire the legend that is Noel and know he was the driving for for Oasis, while at the same time knowing Liam was as responsible for their success because of the voice, looks and attitude. I'all equally defend both outside this forum when the topic of Oasis comes up with friends or whoever. But I might come across as pro LG on here because every time i come on there's people saying Noel is now a faultless god who never needed his younger brother and I feel like Liam gets fucking battered. You're not wrong, I kinda agree with you. I don't want to keep this thing going so I won't reply further. But I still think that you, and everybody else, should avoid writing intentionally polemic posts, knowing that somebody's going to pick up what you've written and start another useless fight. I'm fucking tired of that shit. Cheers!

Soon Comes Tomorrow's lyrics are so cringe-worthy: Said come tomorrow, wave goodbye yesterday Said come tomorrow, we'll echo out today Well come tomorrow as soon as you can This day has been far too much for me manWhat's a letdown cause it does have good lyrics in it but the chorus with the "smoke it" part is so wierd in my opinion. And yeah we don't need to talk about Don't Brother Me..."Did you shoot your gun?" haha people flipping about lyrics on an oasis forum are the strangest thing to me... sure noel had some great lyrics and he really nailed it back in the 90s to get that working class / nothing to lose feel inside his songs, but really? Beady Eye wanted to be a rockband not a political relevant act, just like Noel. I don`t get it, why all of you dismantle every gallagher song. Are you hating "I am the walrus" or "helter skelter" for its nonsense lyrics? no because its lennon and mccartney. If the melody and mood fits a song, why destroying it, with analysing the lyrics. I don't care if somebody sings about mucky fingers or trampolines and plastercine, if the songs delivers a nice feeling. Agreed.

It don't sound like the materplan. Probably not too much but parts of it, especially in the beginning, have a similar chord progression.

That is my video of the beginning from my seat up in the gods! The Do The Damage 1.
I got Riverman & The Masterplan too.
Great visuals & great acoustics in the Hydro. If you were standing or at the front it must have been ace!

The bass that kicks in after the intro and the slide Noel does on the guitar shortly thereafter are just pure bliss.

Aftershow at Firewater club With special guests Paul Gallagher and Alan McGee? I know Paul Gallagher for sure, because he's the DJ for all the aftershows. I don't know about Alan McGee. WigWam, any tidbits you'd like to share about the aftershow?

WigWam, any tidbits you'd like to share about the aftershow? Alan Mcgee was there, was really busy. He was brand new with the fans and allowing folk to get photos with him etc and he played a fair chunk of Oasis tunes. I had my ticket stub from the first time I went to see Oasis with me as I was hoping Noel would sign it in HMV but he didn't but Alan signed it at the afterparty

Alan sounds like a great guy, and that's fantastic that you managed to get the ticket stub signed by him.
