If there's a Labour / SNP coalition I will never stop smiling. JEZ WE CAN! Not sure about an SNP coalition - they despise Labour more than the Tories in Scotland, because they both compete on the same ideological footing (SNP are not nearly as left wing as Corbyn either). Especially when The National pro-independence newspaper has been as bad in its smears towards Corbyn as the Daily Mail and The Sun. |

Although Andrew Neil on twitter is still adamant this is going to be a good night for Labour and an abject one for the Conservatives. He doesn't get much wrong.
Perhaps the UKIP vote in Sunderland and Newcastle is an anomaly for the Tories - they'll cluster for the Tory vote in these areas, kind of 'doping' their numbers a bit but won't make too much of a difference on the wide scheme of things.

I cannae fucking BELIEVE they exit polls btw!!!!!! Get it up, doon n right fuckin roond aw the wee tory bangers man. Trying ma best no tae, but honestly cannae help letting myself get too fucking enraptured by it all. I needty remember Brexit etc exit polls fs. If a don't, it'll only make it even mare fuckin catastrophic for is, if a wake up tomorrow still engulfed in the fascist wretchedness of a tory government..... Still some fuckin dunt seeing the slither of hope but lol.
No tae get ahead a masel but it's also so fuckin class to see that the power of (the sun's) print might be as good as fuckin DEED, considering they normally sway a lot of votes and end up winning elections aw the fuckin time.
As well, a didny realise bc I've had actual NO fucking leaflets through ma door - no even a tory one tae wipe ma arse wae, n they normally send them tae everyvagina - but a saw a tweet earlier that my constituency was all women candidates. Actual fuckin get in!!!!

Right I'm going to bed now because I'm working at 6, but see if I'm rudely awakened by (the dustman lol) my 5am alarm tomorrow to see a tory landslide, then I think there will be no other option than to just launch masel right oot the windae of ma fuckin third floor flat that they couldny be arsed even walking up tae, tae gee me their shitey wee fuckin pamflet lol.

Anything less than a stonking majority and she's failed. Your man done an excellent campaign and surprised me, hopefully there will be embers of recovery from Labour, and with a good manifesto, that is something very concrete to build on I think. Just signing off now myself, but I'm quietly encouraged this last half hour... P.S. Labour HOLD Darlington, should have been a Tory gain according to opinion polls. And, my god, I think they've just taken Nick Cleggs seat. Astonishing if true. |

I hope this gives Corbyn a mandate to continue as my primary worry is a Labour implosion post election. Imagine if the PLP hadn't panicked after the brexit vote what they could have achieved, it set them back months. |

You were right, I was wrong and I think that how he's performed in this campaign already proves that, whatever happens tonight. The humble pie will taste a lot sweeter if I see weeping Conservative ministers tomorrow. |
