Michael Gove has been made the Justice Secretary.
This is the same man who called for the return of hanging...
God bless the Tories.

Mr. Cameron is now on notice: He must listen to the protesters or they will throw another bicycle at the police.

Would you care to explain exactly what you mean by that? After doing so I'll explain to you why you're wrong. No. There is nothing to explain. Sorry. Herbalife should have taken you with him.

New Twitter account set up, called 50 shades of Tory... Safe to say, it's an absolute scream...
"Down a bit...a bit more...more...just a bit more...oh, yeah, that's perfect!" Iain Duncan Smith loved massaging the unemployment figures.
"I'll do anything you want, and I mean anything"...
"I know, David, I know," replied Mr Murdoch.
"Harder! Faster! Deeper! Harder! Faster! Yes! Yes! Harder!". No-one could doubt George Osborne's enthusiasm for public service cuts
As she lay there, trembling and powerless to resist, Iain Duncan Smith threw away her wheelchair and declared her fit for work.
"I want you to talk to me like I'm dirt, like I'm nothing," She urged. "Have you considered a career in teaching?" Michael Gove replied.
She held it firmly in her hand. 'Blow me' it seemed to call as she steered it to her mouth. The horn sounded. "Tally-ho!" The hunt begins.

David Cameron employs anti-gay marriage MP as minister of equalities... Tory logic.

I see a lot of hate towards some twitter quotes that 20 year old SNP Mhairi Black wrote, mainly from right wing rags like the Daily Mail. So what?
It was four years ago when she was 16 and at the very worst it's immature (but what do we expect from someone of that age?), and, anyway, it's hardly malicious tweets. At the same time, the agenda setters for this really think this is worse than Bullingdon Club antics? I'm not accusing Cameron of such antics as, let's be fair, there's no evidence, but being seen to be even remotely associated with such a vile club is already worse than some twitter banter.
Let's hope she's allowed to get on with her job and not be hounded by the press for such irrelevance.

This article sums it all up. It does? - UKIP expressed support for proportional representation in their manifesto. Furthermore, on Saturday Lord Ashcroft - a Conservative peer - recommended a public inquiry into the electoral system. Electoral reform wasn't cooked up by the left in response to defeat; it is a cross-party issue, one which pre-dates the election.
- It is true that Labour benefited from FPTP to a similar extent in 2005; however, that fails to acknowledge the significant increase in exposure and support for smaller parties like UKIP, the SNP, and the Green party in the ten years since, which has resulted in the least proportional election result in history.
- Speaking as a supporter of electoral reform, I accept the risk that proportional representation may deliver a result that I do not like. Unlike last week's result, it would at least represent the will of the electorate as a whole.
- Finally, any article which posits Laurie Penny as a darling of the left is to be treated with the utmost skepticism.

Even though I don't agree with his views, should Beady’s Here Now's posts really be moved to Kiddie's Corner? He's entitled to his opinion as much as we are and I don't think there was much wrong with his post.

Personally I think his political opinions being widely readable is a great boost for the left wing. I'm all for it.

Any post championing David Cameron and the Tories should be accepted as much as any, despite disagreeing with it. From someone else's point of view, their support for the Tories may be genuinely what they believe is the best for the country. There has to be tolerance and a single narrative of 'all Tory politicians or Tory supporters are bastards' is very dangerous I think.
