Southern Britain has just voted in a PM that burned a £50 note in front of a homeless person in order to join a club at university. Just think on that for a second.

My sources are saying that Miliband will announce his resignation at 12 o'clock.

Fuck sake, this election result is like being shafted from both ends. Nothing remotely good about any of this.

You know globe, I didn't ever think Britain would leave the EU if given the chance, but then again, never thought I'd see a Tory majority government ever again. Remember all that New Labour stuff in 1997 and how optimistic and hopeful everyone, including Scots, were of the UK's future? They spoke a good game, but sadly didn't act it. Seems a different world now - 18 years later, the legacy of Blair and Brown's major mishandling leaves the party in total ruins this morning.

I'm gutted. I can't fathom how a majority vote for a party that doesn't have the interests of the majority at heart.

Totally mate, I voted for New Labour in 97, thought Blair was the best thing since sliced bread, but he turned out to be a complete con-man. Fucking up the economy, allowing banks to ride rough-shot, taking us into pointless wars and generally taking their support in Scotland for granted. Labour in their current form are finished in Scotland, they are going to have to do some really deep soul searching and make some radical changes to policy to rebuild all the bridges they've burned up here.

Just....WOW! Good on yer, UK!!! Which of the Conservative party's policies excites you the most? As an avid supporter I'm sure you've read their manifesto.

Eva, Mimmi, whoever can - please move NL4Es posts on this thread to the playpen. A lot of people on here (myself included) feel very passionately against the result of this election, and today, I'm personally feeling very fearful for what the future will bring... Point is, I have very little patience left for piss taking on this day, when this terrible news is so fresh.

He won't answer you, he's far too intelligent to answer such a question from a commoner such as yourself remember live4ever.proboards.com/post/679447

I've hardly done anything wrong. And that's all I'm going to say on the matter.

I'm allowed to be pleased as you're allowed to be angry. But what are you pleased about, specifically? Perhaps you can explain to us downcast left-wing voters why a Conservative government is good news for the United Kingdom.

What do people think of a referendum on the EU and how do you think it'll go?
