Well, I´m from Germany and I got used to it, that our audiences at gigs from Noel are a bit lame (?) with lack of enthusiasm. But now I´m watching videos from Belfast and there it is/ was nearly the same. So, what went wrong? Even in Cologne three years ago, there was more power.

Absolutely nothing. The Odyssey isn't a great venue for music unless every soul is singing along like in Champagne Supernova, AKA What a Life, DLBIA and Masterplan on the night.

Huge venues filled with Tesco mums. It's not always like that, there were some amazing gig when he played arenas during the last tour (like Newcastle or the Wembley Arena for example),but probably that's the case for yesterday night, considering it was the first gig of the tour, and the cheapest one as well Let's hope that on Friday beers will light the crowd

I don't know, the crowd seems pretty good in that EOTR clip. I agree that they seemed kind of lame in the Chasing Yesterday clips. Yeah in the WAL clip too Well it's been out for two days,it will get better with time

A tour of tiny toilet venues, a stage packed with African nose flutists and Rastafarian sitar players, and the venue packed to the rafters solely with Live4Ever forum members and not a Tesco shopper in sight. Apart from Noel.

Best NGHFB crowd. We'll go mad in Milan for The Masterplan this time, he almost played it last time because fans were asking Listen

What is the capacity of the venue? 5000? Probably double that... I was there and there was nothing 'wrong' with the crowd...it was almost at full capacity and the atmosphere was great..don't judge youtube videos!

I am glad he included it in this tour. Although as i said yesterday, i think it would be better if he only played 2-3 oasis songs. DLBIA, The Masterplan and TIOBI.

Its going to be a different kind of gig these day's going to see Noel. He's writing different music with perhaps an older audience. It won't be the same madness as it once was. I'm not saying that's a bad thing its just a different thing.

Lots of new songs which people don't quite know yet + plenty of casual and older fans in attendance + not the best venue = average atmosphere.

i take it tim smith has been watching old oasis clips as he's doing a fair impersonation of Gems style and his moves while he plays the guitar,i see he's also grown his hair like Gems too!!!! how odd!!!!

Despite it´s out of topic.
Do you really think, he gives a lot of what moves Gem does and haircut he has? How odd.

What also didn't help was its a Tuesday night, If it hadda been Friday, Saturday etc, then the crowd would have been a lot more fuelled!
I had a ball.. loved it, loved the crowd.. feck the haters!

No one said, it was hateful. I have just been surprised. Good though if you had a good gig/night.

there is nothing wrong with an audience, that enjoys the music. I am standing and staring and listening at a concert, because I don`t want to distract myself with thoughts like "I have to watch out not to fall down, while I`m jumping". And I think noels setlist is not for partying. great setlist to enjoy the music. they maybe sung along, which is hard to hear from cell phone recordings.

Lots of new songs which people don't quite know yet + plenty of casual and older fans in attendance + not the best venue = average atmosphere. But even if you don't know the new songs, how hard would it be to bop around to, for example, Lock All The Doors. It's uptempo and catchy so why not move around a bit? You know, instead of standing there like you're at a museum.
