It's getting beyond a joke now, I'd honestly rather the Nature of reality or Beatles and Stones. Such a dull fart of an opener, he should have opened every night with the clear choice that was EOTR last time round.
It's even worse at the festivals as crowds of Neutrals need to be gripped from the start, this does not happen with IGTBF.

Yes, it is of course a great song and it was a good pun starting his first gig with it...but we want different songs for this tour

Yeah, good pun, but we need something that gets the crowd excited and pumped, not this snooze fest.

Best opener since The Swamp Song, what a cracking way to set the tone for a gig. Hope he uses it for every date on the tour.

It'd be good to be free of this song

I think I'd rather live under the Islamic State than hear it as an opener again.

Yes.
Play Riverman or Do The Damage first.

It's good to be free made sense for a first tour. Hello makes sense for a second, with the whole good to be back vibe. Plus it's a classic

We know he's playing Bhn songs at some point, why not open with DYNWIM?
My head would explode I think

Riverman or Do the Damage. He shouldn't be playing more than 4 or 5 Oasis songs this time around, better make em count.

I posted this in another thread but it probably should have gone here instead. This is what I think will happen. He opens by playing the chords to Bonehead's Bank Holliday a few times. People are enjoying the music but are confused when a bald, middle-aged man swaggers onto the stage. The confusion mounts as he walks up to the microphone. Suddenly, it dawns on everyone that Bonehead himself is finally about to sing his song. As he opens his mouth, the audience are preparing for a right good chuckle. However they are stunned into silence when Bonehead emits the voice of a professional soprano singer.

first three track always has to be up-tempo songs. Do the damage would bring it perfect!

Gigs should start with Do The Damage - Lock All The Doors - Freaky Teeth before Noel says a word to the crowd, no pause in between them.

Voted No because if he wouldn't do it in the acoustic, almost country-like form he does it in, and in the proper full band version, it would sound great. Now, as an opener? Maybe not, but I get the feeling, from what everyone's saying about the song, it would be a good song to go after LATD.

Yes. I know Noel is a creature of habit but It is now the right time to move on from this song. It was cool to kick off his first solo tour with it but not anymore. I'd much rather he open with "Everybody's On The Run".

after seeing noel twice live and watching countless Noel+Gem and NGHFB gigs in complete online i can safely say...
I would be fine if he never played the song again.

I'd much rather he open with "Everybody's On The Run". I always favored the DM electric version with Liam. The acoustic is good but abit boring to start off a gig eh? Definitely agree and retract my earlier post, something energetic and fierce like Do The Damage, or powerful like Everybody's On The Run would do.
