Corrected that for you i dont think so. Liam's 2015 vocals, still better than anything in CY, could still turn a good NG song to a great one Nah Liam's voice has got worse every year while noel's gets better.

I can tell you for sure that, at least, it' s not gonna sound like a bland-AOR attempt of singing an old Oasis tune like ...you know...

Classic Oasis. 1996 called, they said: Here's a fucking present yer twats!

To be fair, I've seen Oasis 11 times and Beady Eye three times. I only caught one bad vocal night in that entire run. The infamous Terminal 5 show in December 2011. You could tell he just didn't have it after 2-3 songs and he was a train wreck the rest of the way. The slower songs made him sound truly awful. I chalked it up to too much touring earlier in the year and a completely unnecessary US tour with empty venues. I'm mad that this was my final concert of Liam.

I can tell you for sure that, at least, it' s not gonna sound like a bland-AOR attempt of singing an old Oasis tune like ...you know... Good God. So were all the Noel sung Oasis songs bland attempts? imo, unfortunately YES! Not all, some of them were really brilliant (TDOYAM, IIHAG, WAL, TBOTMI, ITHOTM) but most of them dont fit well with the mediocre Noel's vocals or to say it better (again), most of them remain just good songs (probably great demos) and not turn to really great songs. it s my opinion, but when i hear an album (studio version) i want to get the best i can from the songs.Studio albums/songs is what people usually hear, that's what radio/tv plays, that's what people remember. Not the live version(s). [but if you ask me, i prefer any Liam's live performance than a Noel's one.I suppose you dont have to agree with me but everyone has a right to their own opinion...)

The chorus is a little little little bit too fast. But this is a cracker

It's OK but not great, one of the weaker songs eclipsed by some epics.

Listened to this song after watching my team destroy Stoke City 4-1, there really is no better feeling. What a day I've had!
A few thoughts:
- It sounds a lot like Comin' On Strong until the chorus. I can understand Noel confusing the two now. - The line "we will live to meet again" (or something like that!) has the same melody as "we will live to fight another day" in If I Had A Gun. - What a brilliant fuckin tune!!!

OOPsed as well! The drums stand out incredibly at the 2 minute mark. Like I said about TDOTL the album is very well produced. Noel squeezed all he could out of each track.

I've been waiting for Oasis/Noel to release something like this since post-BHN. AND, what's more, how the next song is Dying of the Light. Just a majestic stretch right there.
Wheras BE's I'm Just Sayin' would be classic 90s Oasis b-side, Lock All the Doors is the next step above.

as someone who LOVES the original demo form of "Lock All The Doors"-----i am VERY disappointed in the NG version. It really takes the soul out of the song and makes it sound derivative. Listen to the original 1992/1993 demos and this song had a lot of emotion and feeling in it. The current one sounds technically there....but lacks that rawness and grit. I am happy Noel pulled this out of the vault, but am disappointed at the final product.

Love it. Actually sounds like a BHN tune, amazing guitar solo, the slightly faster tempo suits the song very well too...beautiful.

I think the 1993 version's crap but the new one is brilliant and euphoric. if you listen to the production then you will call the 1993 one "crap". The original one has emotion that the new one doesn't have....but that makes sense---because Oasis in 1993 were a bunch of blokes pouring their souls into the music whereas Noel from 2015 is an established elder musician just prolonging his career. That's exactly what this version sounds like....like an interpretation of the original.

Don't exaggerate. I've seen Liam 1 year ago today and he was good. He killed Cigarettes & Alcohol. And since november 2013 he's good. Noel is a better songwriter but can only dream to have Liam's charisma. At least have a little bit of respect for that legend of a frontman. Thanks. Liam studio > Noel Studio. That's it.

I think anyone who doesn't have Noel's dick in his mouth, would say that this track would be 10x better with Liam on vocals.
