While The Song Remains The Same, followed by The Right Stuff. This is correct.

Two of my personal top three tracks, Mighty I and While the Song, are respectively 7th and 5th in the poll. Oh well

I can't believe about 255 people have voted for this.

The Mexican is one his best live songs but sounds weird in the studio

While the Song Remains the Same, no doubt. To me, it ranks up there with The Death of You & Me, The Importance of Being Idle, and Gas Panic! as some of his best post-BHN penned tunes that can stand alongside some of his 90s work. Incredible song all around.

The Mexican is one his best live songs but sounds weird in the studio The best things about the studio version have to be the backing vocals, on the chorus especially, the cowbell, and the brass section's buildup. Plus, that infectious riff packs a punch right from the beginning.

It's weird how two songs like The Right Stuff and Lock All The Doors can be so close

It's weird how two songs like The Right Stuff and Lock All The Doors can be so close They're both completely different to each other. I like both, but TRS is like woah (for lack of better words that don't sound fangirly and crazy, LOL). I bet if Heathen Chemistry had the b-sides that people say should have been on the album, it would be just as divided among people.

I was LATD / WTSRTS, I've now switched to WTSRTS / BOTMI.
This really is a fantastic bunch of songs, I also adore all the bonus tracks including LMGA.
This is EASILY the best bunch of songs since BHN, quite possibly even MG but I dont want to sound like a hysterical fanboy. Time will tell I think.

I can't believe BOTMI is 7th in the poll... Me neither, but what can you expect? There's no accounting for taste I guess. That, and taste is something some people on here lack

Ballad Of The Mighty I is the best song on the album. End of, shut the fuck up.

Ballad Of The Mighty I as the best and either In The Heat Of The Moment or Where The Song Remains The Same for second place.
