I've downloaded it, against my original intention, but haven't listened. It's just digital files looking at me in an indifferent way from my laptop, which is strange enough given the whole built up since October. Just the anticipation of actually being able to listen to it right now If I wanted to is something to behold. Can anyone tell me if this is actually a high quality CD-rip or something that was recorded from a stream? If that's the case it'll make it easier for me to resist.

It's not the best quality ever, but it's perfectly listenable. |

If that's the case it'll make it easier for me to resist. this is the spectral analysis of Riverman. From the looks of it I'd say the quality is no higher than a 128 kbps .mp3. Still very listenable, but far from being perfect CD-rip quality.  |

I'm finding it easy to hold out - the fact that it's not a top quality leak helps, but actually reading this forum seeing everyone's opinion is enjoyable for me. Weird as it sounds, love seeing how the fans react to it and it helps stave off any cravings. Really stoked and delighted that people love it though - even if on the unlikely chance I didn't love it, it's always great to see so many enjoying it.

With all the positive comments, I really want to hear it. But I also feel that because it's so good, I want my first listen to be at the highest quality possible because the album "deserves" it, if you get my drift. If the album sucked, I might not care so much. This is a very good sign. Never felt this before and never regretted it either. That said, it's gonna be a tough wait. |

Like I said in another thread, today is my last day at home for a few weeks so if I was to wait for it to come through my letter box I'd have to wait longer than most. I've bought that album, the most expensive version and the leak is decent quality so I see no point in waiting.
I admire you guys' patience, but I've had an awesome day listening to this absolute gem of an album, you guys are missing out! Lock All The Doors and You Know We Can't Go Back sound lifted straight off of DM or BHN and they evoke that classic Oasis feeling.
I was seething at the 35 minute download time, how the hell do you do it!?
