So you're telling me Noel performed an acoustic version of Riverman somewhere the DAY AFTER Christmas and not a single media outlet picked up on it? I'm calling bullshit. I think he is saying he listened to a recording of the album. |

This is slightly off topic but I wanted to say that I can understand why some people may be disappointed with what they've been hearing so far but I don't know, I expect a certain thing when I listen to Oasis or NGHFB or Bdi (BE?). If I want something different I'll listen to some other artist. None of the few songs we've heard are bad songs by any means, at least in my opinion, and I enjoy them because as long as Noel is trying new things and he's happy with it, I'm good.
But everyone is entitled to their opinion and I respect that, but I find it hard to be pessimistic when there's going to be new Noel Gallagher music.

I doubt this guy is for real, there was a similar thing on coldplaying where someone had "inside info" about lp7 but then confessed he didn't. This guy probably knows were all desperate for news...in fact the more that we want it, the more that we need it, he knows that we'll be by his side.

In 3 weeks we'll have the album. Then nothing for about 3.5 years, until 2018 october. Hopefully Liam will put out something in the meantime. I don't know, today I'm melancholic, I think I'll go to listen to The dying of the light

So as per genuine fans who enter ballots and such don't get tickets but people who talk through the show and possibly don t even own an album are there for a night out. Least he's playing again next month suppose :-(

This was literally a gig of a lifetime. Tiny venue, 400 capacity, no barrier etc. As if you were gonna risk getting kicked out or even worry about your phone / recording in these circumstances.

Calm down, within a few weeks you'll be able to hear all the songs in good quality.
