A small gig so we may not get a recording of new songs if it's quite secretive, but hopefully someone gets tickets and we can get feedback on how good the new songs are - and importantly - how they stand up live.

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds to Play Intimate One Off London Gig! Ahead of their forthcoming UK Tour Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will be performing a one off show at The Dome, Tufnell Park, London on Monday 2nd February. This will be a small, intimate gig where Noel will perform tracks from the forthcoming 'Chasing Yesterday' for the first time. Tickets are EXTREMELY limited and therefore will be made available via a ballot system. Fingers crossed for this

Blimey, they weren't lying were they? Looks like the assembly hall of every single primary school in England. Don't really see the point tbh, but it'll be cool for the folk who get to go I'm sure

Oh, just seen that it's at the start of feb. Fair enough, it would be cool for Noel and the band to try out some of the new stuff to an audience as opposed to just their empty rehearsal rooms

I just wonder if they'll run through the entire album. Even the stuff that might be extremely difficult to pull off live.

I've entered the ballot but let it be known whenever I've done that for anything I've never been picked so I don't expect that to change much!
Got that day off work as well as it's the day after the Superbowl!

Now I'll have to resist listening to the low quality bootleg that is going to come out for a month!
That's a long time. Don't think I'll make it.

I'm sure there's going to be a bootleg, it isn't that hard to have a phone record in your pocket.

I just wonder if they'll run through the entire album. Even the stuff that might be extremely difficult to pull off live. I think it would be foolish to play the album in its entirety, as Noel himself has often said himself about "the romance" of sitting down and giving an album that first listen, that would ruin it a bit for the folk who go I think. We had something similar from Beady Eye when they brought BE out, they played just a couple of tunes but tbf that was a surprise for the fans at the album playback, rather than a scheduled gig like this.

Yea, I don't see him playing everything either. I think a 12 song set list with a mix of HFB 1, Oasis, and CY. We might get 5 or 6 songs out of this max.
