Honestly what is so amazing about? It slogs along and repeats the same 4 lines. It may be great but you can't hear that from this clip

I've not listened yet either...
Now I love IGTBF, I love both Liam and Noel's versions of it but...seriously, its been the opener since 2006 for Noel's gigs!!!
LDSMD would have been a terrific opener. And would be great to see Shout it Out Loud still in the set...it may well be, as the 15 songs are missing a few.
What about that interview someone mentioned 8 pages back, where Noel said he'd play more BHN songs to promote the release? Hahah yea, i'll believe it when I hear it.

Not going to listen to anything. For various reasons, but I appreciate those who took the time and effort to get these out.
A pretty bland set list to be honest. Would love LDSMD, Shout It Out Loud, One Way Road, Part Of The Queue, or Alone on the Rope but I doubt these will happen. Also if Noel's gonna play a light hearted track I'd love him to give D'Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman a shot.

Alright, I'll wait for a better quality record to judge. But what a fucking great song!!! Okay thomas (& everyone who has listened), on first impressions, where does it rank alongside Noel's songs from 2000 onwards? It's hard to decide based on the lower quality sound but I'd say its a bit shit. |

I like the groove, chorus and solo but I think it's tricky to judge on such a recording. One think I will say the 5 min recording only feels like 3 mins and to me personally that is always a good sign.

Despite the low quality recording of Riverman, I can hear in the chords and the strumming pattern what Noel meant when he said it sounds a bit like Talk Tonight. I can kinda hear a Wonderwall strumming pattern too, similar to when Oasis played it live on electric guitar.

This is just my opinion and don't imgaine it being to popular but I like hear him drop all the ballads from the 1st album like eotr and iihag. Just because of the feel of the new songs on this album feels more lively, I'd imgaine theres a couple of ballads on new the album riverman and dying of the light so they'll slow the set down but least there new. The rest of the set Id like to see danced/rocked up a bit,
