By the way, anyone think the chorus would be brilliant for a James Bond theme? It's got that feel to it definitely. Yes! That was my first impression after the first listen First listen: sounds like a James Bond theme! It sounds like a James Bond theme song indeed and, to my ears, the chorus reminds a lot of chris cornell's You Know My Name, which was the theme song for Casino Royale. Does it really sound similar or am I crazy? |

Noel wasn't in that video, he couldn't be arsed with them anymore. Those are all lookalikes in wigs! Noel doesn't wear red trousers ffs! Wow, it must have been really fucking hard to find people who are able to look as grumpy as Noel. I've honestly never seen a person who has the ability to look that grumpy - the grumpy cat is not a person.  |

About the chords, I'm really confused in the middle. Okay, during the song we have Fm, Am, C, G6/4 (3-2-0-0-1-0), G and D/9 (x-x-0-2-3-0), but in the outro we have D# (or Eb) and Bb (or A#)? Really interesting coming from Noel  |

First single is usually the easiest. Hype is enough to pull it through. You can get away with not much promotional work. The second single is where the work comes in. Noel got lucky and was smart to put WAL in a commercial. It did a lot of the usual work for him. With this he'll have to get out and push it. Why are you so obsessed with album sales? Why do you care Milwaukee? I responded to someone else's post about YouTube counts, not sales. But even if I did it's my right. Just like it's your right to claim Noel will be playing Pabst. |
