No idea what all the hype of Alone on the Rope is all about; it's a Coldplay Parachutes rip off.

If you guys notice the people who do not like it are not regular posters here. I'am betting we have a lot off butt hurt BE fans commenting.
I love it, no not in a Liver forever, Wonderwall or Talk Tonight kind of way but in a What A Life, Death Of You and Me Way. I also think it will be epic live.

Slight edit from the lyrics Drevil posted,
Followed you down to the end of the world I wait outside your window In the heat of the rain I'll call your name But you just pass me by
You put me up like a fly on the wall You'll need a blame when the heavens fall Give me a sign when you hear me fall you just pass me by
colours around me are fading away I’ll be waiting come what may
I’ll find you, yes I’ll find you, yes I’ll find you If i gotta be the man that walks the earth alone
Followed the stars and I sailed to the sun and held it in my fingers Alone on the beach on my own out of reach you just pass me by
Give you the world if you take my hand but you left me alone in the sinking sand Strike up the band for one last stand and you just pass me by
Show me the rules of the games you play and I’ll be waiting come what may
I’ll find you, yes I’ll find you, yes I’ll find you If I gotta be the man who walks the earth I’ll find you, yes I’ll find you, yes I’ll find you If i gotta be the man that walks the earth alone
Followed you now to the end of the world I wait outside your window In the heat of the rain I’ll call your name but you just pass me by
Wherever you run I’ll be on your tail whenever you’re hiding behind your veil
I’ll find you, yes I’ll find you, yes I’ll find you If I gotta be the man who walks the earth I’ll find you, yes I’ll find you, yes I’ll find you If I gotta be the man who walks the earth alone

the 'yes ill find you' are more powerful than most choruses Impersonating a forum member HFP? Not only is it pathetic, but its down right creepy.

Where abouts is it on the album just out of interest? Sounds like it should be near the end.

Without going into a big beady eye vs noel battle again because I like this song alot -
I do notice a big difference in the way a song is greeted on here by Noel and by Beady Eye and I think its reflective of the casual oasis scene too.
A lot of you will listen let a song by Noel grow on you if your not keen. You don't give Liam's the chance.
I hate the split in opinions and how the oasis fanbase has become divided.
Well done Noel. Cracking song and isn't the traditional run of the mill generic thing I was expecting.

I know it's only been 12 hours, but the view count is a little underwhelming. ITHOTM got 200k in 24 hours. This one looks to be struggling to hit 100k in the same amount of time. 12 hours left, it will definitely hit 100k, but that's a huge drop off. Maybe it will perform better in the long run.
ITHOTM was the first song in 3 years, maybe that's explains the difference.

Isn't it "Hear the rain out call your name", not "In the heat…" ?

"In the heat of the rain I’ll call your name"
"In the heat" or "here on"? After the "by the seams" instead of "by the sea" on If I Had a Gun..., I'll never be so sure, haha

I'm pretty sure it's "come while May," not "come what May."

It's a good song and something a little different but as a pair ITHOTM and this have left me a little underwhelmed so far.
I preferred the DOYAM, What A Life combo and if I'm honest I wasn't exactly blown away by them either
I will say however that the sound of CY sounds intriguing and will certainly offer something different than the almost conservative first album. Every album Noel has released I've loved at least one song, I'm still waiting for this albums
