The bassline is the most catchy part - which has never been said about a Gallagher release before! Bass on Go Let It Out and Gas Panic is great. And Falling Down

Here's Don't Look Back In Anger if anyone was looking for it to be released today. It leaked in 1995, you didn't have to wait that long. Quite a tune, actually Woah, great tune. I think that will be my favourite! Ought to be a hit!

Nah, feels like its building to something that never arrives...Kinda like Cheryl Cole trying to do rock - that said it would be amazing with Liam singing it! Do The Damage should have been the a-side...

I didn't even know Oasis had a bass player between 1994 and 1998. starting at around 7:30. gave that outro about 653 listens back in the day loved that. The Den Bosch one was even better...coz i was there

Everyone i saying the same thing. It is missing the big explosive chorus. I think Noel did this on purpose and what he did is brilliant. When you think about the words to the song, it is about finding the person that you love and when you find them you reach that chorus we are looking for. Just like how the lyrics describe the dedication that goes into seeking the right person and the feeling that comes when you find them and are together, it never happens in the song. It is about the process of finding love but the song does not include the result of finding it. That is why i think at the end when Noel steps up to the microphone we are expecting an explosive chorus or guitar solo but it never comes. Yes we all know it is there, but you can't see or hear it, all you can believe is that it real.
No I'am not high lol

Its weird. I don't want Noel making 90s rip offs, but I just can not get into it. Maybe this song just doesn't work for me. Altough I hope it will.

Gets better with every listen. There's lots going on in it. Very understated in places. It's different and very good. Loving the direction this album is going in.

Love the new song - especially the slightly different structure. Great to see Noel trying something different and I don't really understand all these comments complaining about a lack of build/chorus.
Be nice to hear some spacey, ambient mixes of it (without the wailing AA singers plastered over the top please).

With this interpretation, it also leaves a hell of a statement as the final track.

I hope he'll be able to make it all work live. I mean, ITHOTM is quite a belter, this one is too, and a lot of his other songs are too. I hope his voice will be as good as usual

Through this link: www.amazon.co.jp/gp/aw/d/B00RX7ISPM/..you can see that 'Revolution Song' is in fact the new b-side. (FYI: I'm just showing the screenshot for those who don't want to click the link and read nothing but Japanese.)
Screenshot:
I know it says 24th Feb, but I wonder if we'll hear it before then? I'm guessing no. That would give us new material for Feb, along with the releasing of the vinyl and serve as promotion for the album which by that point is only a week away. That's a guess as good as any for a 'first listen' sometime later this month, or in early February. 'Revolution Song' will probably be put out to stream just like 'Do the Damage' was put out a few weeks early back in October.
