How did you arrive at the 17/18K figure? Well, ITHOTM sold 15k after the 1st week, so 25k copies sold now, more or less. 99% of singles were bought digitally in 2014, so at least 24k of those copies were sold digitally. On iTunes you must pre-order CY to buy In the Heat of the Moment, so, yeah, they probably have 17/18k pre-orders. It's just an estimate I see. I bought it in vinyl only so I didn't know about that restriction. I don't buy digital music. I like having a physical copy.

I think they don't give a shit about how much Ballad of the Mighty I will sell and where it will chart. They just want people to buy Chasing Yesterday Deluxe Edition. Now, In the Heat of the Moment sold 15k copies after the 1st week, so 20k copies now, more or less. Probably 25k. In 2014 99% of singles in UK were bought digitally, so that means there are at least 17/18k people who have already pre-ordered CY. Probably 35/40k after Ballad of the Mighty. It's pretty solid, isn't it? That's their strategy, I guess. Yeah, but why only reward people who bought it on iTunes? I hope there is a larger release than that...I want to buy a physical copy. I really don't want to buy a digital copy too just to get a single.

It's coming out on vinyl, but my concern was that the only known digital release is on iTunes if you pre-order the album.

Nope, if you pay 10£ (I don't remember how much it costs) for Chasing Yesterday (Pre-order) you can buy Ballad of the Mighty I for £ . But on Amazon UK you can buy MP3 version of Ballad of the Mighty I without buying the whole thing

Keep saying Riverman will be a single. Most likely the third. Can't see why they would make the track listing time available so early if were going to be relegated to a fourth single.

I'm feeling Riverman will be a strong single, is the 1st song, the opening track, must be powerful. The Dying of the Light would be the 4th single? Makes some sense, announce the 4th single for the festivals season.

I think he'll release a special single for Japan too having seen the success If I Had a Gun had there. Maybe during his "big" tour in Japan in April.

Anyone think they'll release a preview of BOTMI and Revolution Song before we hear it on youtube? When could we expect it?

I see times listed for every song when I go to iTunes via my iPad. I'm also from the good old US of A.

I'm still gonna go with "The Dying of The Light" as single #3 and "Girl With X-Ray Eyes" as single #4. Riverman is almost 6 minutes long. Noel was already complaining that the reason why "In The Heat of The Moment" was selected as a single was its shorter length and not having to mess with radio edits which he said he loathes. We shall see.

Well, brace yourself then, because if Riverman truly is the 3rd or 4th single, we're in for that story a lot more times than we've heard it already

We already knew the running times right? I can remember people discussing whether The Girl With The X Ray Eyes is She Must Be One Of Us and comparing the running times.
