If it happens it happens not too big of a deal. I'll only lose an hour's worth of sleep. Though, it seems weird that XFm would only have a Noel announcement for a tour date or competition or when the next single would be played. That's something Noel's people could announce on Twitter and not have to reserve airtime for. It doesn't make sense if it's something as minimal as that. The only reason you'd reserve airtime, especially in Noel's situation considering how deliberate and tight lip they've been, is to do something of note. Especially that early in the morning.  He could announce any of the above at any time in the day. But a radio spot reserved in the morning to announce one arena gig, one date, or a contest. Just seems like a waste and pocket change. I think we'll get the song. It doesn't really make sense not. Especially with the January 13th release date. I think first airplay tomorrow and the video on Friday. Release next week. It's a cheap ploy by Xfm to get more listeners tuning in..... before they piss everyone off to the point nobody bothers to tune in again! The tweet they put out said tune in at 7.20 to win tickets.. thats not a cheap ploy thats just telling fans they can win tickets |

First play @ 8:15ish. So this isn't that early for a first play. I've got to be up early for skiing though. So I'll just wake up a bit early and I can hopefully listen back then. |

40,000 people in Manchester in 2 nights. Not bad Noely. Can you play a spring gig either at Finsbury Park and Heaton Park, with 40k. With a DVD of it. It would be truly amazing, please Noel Better than new arena dates! |

And if traffic is anything like it is here still rush hour time. And that is assuming that they play it first thing when he walks in. Could be that they'll chat for a link then play it after the second link. |

We know it will be out within a week anyways, so no harm no foul. But I agree with a couple of posters. I the age of internet who cares if you release it at 7 am? It will be around anyways. Why have something go viral for only a couple hours in afternoon when it can easily waste away, when you could do it early in morning with just as much fan fare and a chance to own the whole. Noel may not do it, but I agree that it wouldn't be as far fetched as some are making it seem for an artist like Noel to do it. We live in the internet age. Releasing something at 11 am or noon doesn't mean as much anymore. Once it's out there it's out there. |

I kinda have a feeling this will just be WAL part 2.... Not that excited about the singles (if they are, as I suspect TDOTL and The Mexican) now tbh, looking forward immensely however to hearing The Right Stuff, Riverman and The Girl With the X-Ray Eyes - the last one purely because of the cool name |

I don't think we'll be hearing anything tomorrow. Noel's Twitter and Facebook page are normally pretty good now at flagging first plays/major announcements. And there's nothing on either.
