Hang on a minute, is it 'Mighty I' as in 'eye' or 'one'? This is a good question. I always thought Mighty I (Eye) as a possessive statement (I am Mighty). That's what I thought as well. I as in me, yeah. Errr do you guys really think that the "announcement" is the first airplay? I was thinking it might just be "hey I've got a new single out next week so yeah kthxbai" |

Though, it seems weird that XFm would only have a Noel announcement for a tour date or competition or when the next single would be played. That's something Noel's people could announce on Twitter and not have to reserve airtime for. It doesn't make sense if it's something as minimal as that. The only reason you'd reserve airtime, especially in Noel's situation considering how deliberate and tight lip they've been, is to do something of note. Especially that early in the morning.  He could announce any of the above at any time in the day. But a radio spot reserved in the morning to announce one arena gig, one date, or a contest. Just seems like a waste and pocket change. I think we'll get the song. It doesn't really make sense not. Especially with the January 13th release date. I think first airplay tomorrow and the video on Friday. Release next week. |

My guess is more tour dates. Maybe a competition to win a chance to hear the album previewed somewhere, like last time round.

Maybe its a new tactic.
They are defo gonna announce some more dates and obv a competition.
They could drop the single, make it the XFM track of the day. Social media would defo get it out there been played and then people tune in throughout rest of the day to try and hear it vs just for 20 mins during one show when its pre announced.
