Pretty much all albums I love this year have been mentioned here. A lot of folk liked Temples album - I could never really get into it sadly, I thought it was maybe a wee bit too derivative of 60s psychedelia. Always one to give them a chance, and they're not a bad band at all, just didn't click with me that's all.
War On Drugs - Lost In The Dream Erland & The Carnival - Closing Time Lykke Li - I Never Learn U2 - Songs of Innocence (featuring Lykke Li of course) Morrissey - World Peace Is None Of Your Business The Twilight Sad - Nobody Wants To Be Here & Nobody Wants To Leave

Imho. They seem frightened and intimidated. It's just me?

I've seen them 5 times now (only twice at their own gigs) but I've only enjoyed 2 of those times, with another being ok. The other two were just really boring. Anyway, my top 10 would probably be Royal Blood - Royal Blood The War on Drugs - Lost in the Dream Jack White - Lazaretto Taylor Swift - 1989 Courteeners - Concrete Love Death From Above 1979 - The Physical World Elbow - The Take Off and Landing of Everything Wild Beasts - Present Tense Interpol - El Pintor Sharon Van Etten - Are We There

Temples-Sun Structures Kasabian- 48:13 Damon Albarn-Everyday Robots Foo Fighters-Sonic Highways
And I don't "love" any of them, but these were alright. I haven't listened to a lot of new albums this year, and the rest I've heard wasn't really worth mentioning. It was a disappointing year.
