I think he's definitely in good terms with Gem. Maybe even with Chris. I don't think with Andy, according to some comments they made. "Bollocks! He lied about a lot of things. The argument about Pretty Green was lies, what he said about V Festival and the fake laryngitis was lies - I don't know, maybe he's convinced that's the truth. I don't know what goes on in his head. I know him, so I'm not disappointed. That's what he's like. I know how he spins the press. He's used the press for years. Interviews and press are secondary for us, that's his life. That's just Noel being Noel. All that shit. There were three of us in that room, and I'm telling you it was nothing to do with Pretty Green. I'm not going to add more fuel to the fire. But I've ended up in a band with Liam, Gem, Chris, with the same management, road crew. But at the same time, I wish him all the best. I want him to be happy." Andy Bell I remember this quote from Andy at the time and its always struck me as really odd. I just can't imagine him saying it. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it was from a Japanese magazine or something? I wish there was a video of it because I just don't believe Andy would be so venomous towards Noel. Its pretty obvious that Andy took Liams side in the split and had issues with Noel but this always seemed a bit out of character. Also find it really strange that he was never asked this question about the night of the split more often. I always got the assumption that interviers were told not to ask such questions beforehand and whenever Andy/gem have been asked about it, its always been very diplomatic

Yeah because everybody just laughed along with it while they were in Oasis. But to be reading it as Liam each week probably wasn't much fun. That of course doesn't justify being nasty about Noel but I think all jaq515 was trying to do was provide some context to it because as much as we might like you can't simply divide things up by years or albums or groups. What happened before influences what follows. Oh believe me we all got the context from the beginning. I was merely only pointing out that I 'm glad Noel didn't get all nasty back to Liam and Beady Eye when things weren't going great for them yet Liam was taking shots at HFB. I'm glad it stayed one sided and did not escalate further. You don't think that Noel's reasoning for not biting back much at Liam was to preserve this media image of the calmer, more sophisticated Gallagher that he's so brilliantly portrayed since the turn of the century? You only have to look at Noel's comments towards Damon Alburn in the 90s to see he's every bit (if not worse) than Liam when it comes to cheap shots and vicous outbursts

Stop the bleeding please.

I think that's a good thing. And does it really matter what reason he has for not biting back?
