The song isn't doing much for me, easily forgettable. A cool saxophone solo, but the melody isn't there, and neither are the lyrics. But always nice to hear new music from Noel. And it's upbeat at least.

Okay song..worst part is now we have to WAIT TILL JANUARY 2015 for another new song!! That's only 7 weeks or so.... We've waited over three years for these two tunes so a wee while longer ain't going to make much difference. |

I like the weird squeaky thing that happens in the intro similar to when it all kicks off near the end of Stop The Clocks.

DTD sounds like The Turning woke up in the middle of night and started moving about with a saxophone in hand, and a piano to follow. Really cool B-side and song, has some true rock-and-roll vibes going for it, especially with the driving piano & saxophone.

Noel has been on some serious song-writing form since DBTT. And it's only gotten stronger and more confident with every passing year, with every resulting album.
When Oasis reforms, LAG should get absolutely zero songs. They can create a new concept and have the C-Sides, but anything above that they must not touch.
I really wish all of HFB was under the Oasis moniker, with the Oasis band together, and Liam on vocals. The restoration as one of the biggest and best bands in the world would be complete by now. It's such a damn shame how much SOTSOG/HC contributed to the end of Oasis with LAG's contribution lingering, and Noel's weakened confidence - that did the damage, kid.

That sax solo-melody is so familiar. I can swear that's from an Oasis-related material, perhaps a live solo he did. In the next year, my subconscious will uncover where it's from. But it's most certainly from somewhere in Oasis.
