It's very simple, imho. Few days ago he did the interview with XFM, so people were talking about him. The same with the gogglebox thing, Johnny Marr's gig, GQ + NME Interviews etc. He has nothing scheduled for the next days, so we're going to listen Do The Damage and people are going to talk about him again. It's fuc*ing marketing. You don't need to release another song if people are already talking about you.

It won't be far off a month after Do The Damage that we get the next single! And we should have some mustique demos very soon also, the next few months are going to be crazy, and then the album

10 days max 7 days really, some singles in Europe are released on the Fridays. And the iTunes/Amazon previews should be online by Tuesday next week. |

Anyone hoping for a top secret extra track? Oh yeah, but highly unlikely for a single. Maybe on the album, but Noel's doesn't tend to do that outside of instrumentals. We could get another "Alone on the Rope" release or a live surprise like "Freaky Teeth" last tour. |
