I heard it once on the radio and I'm in America. Albeit, it was a hipster radio station. What state? Online or over the air? A New York college radio station - online.

Is it being played on the radio? I've heard it about 8 times on the radio already, which is more than any song off HFB Waiting at the traffic lights yesterday morning, a guy pulls up in the lane next to me absolutely blasting it out. Normally I tut and shake my head at this kind of behaviour but in this instance it was ok

Collectively, 1,070,000 youtube views in less than a month, still 3 weeks before it's officially released.
Not too bad. I'm wondering if on the 17th we'll see any jumps in the viewcount?
Where do we predict this single to chart if at all?

I love the song and tune but the more I listen the more I'm worried about the production of the album. The vocal is buried in behind these very muddy bells. Especially during the last chorus and repetition you mostly hear a constant bell resonating with his vocal pretty much behind it.
Anyone else feel similar.

The vocals are a bit low throughout the entire song. But that's really the only issue I have with it.

Gets better every time I hear it, I love the production, the vocals/the bells etc This is the best Gallagher first single since TSOTL and the second best one since DYKWIM! It might even be my favourite post Oasis song

Why can't Noel just like, release a new song every day? Sod the albums/tours etc Just record something new every day and put it out!
My mp3 says I've played In the Heat Of The Moment over 100 hundred times already just on that device. It sucks so much we have to wait so long between album cycles. Beady Eye were awesome for bridging the long, long wait but that's over now :@

And he's not gonna have to worry about Oasis reissues for ages or BDI releases.

Still not happy about the claret and blue single cover, outrageous!
Top tune, my 2nd favourite HFB tune now behind The Death Of You And Me. The Dying Of The Light will definitely take the top spot upon its release.

I'm not impressed with The Dying Of The Light yet. It's not a bad song but I don't love it. I'm excited for the final product. Maybe I will love it now it's been recorded and probably changed a bit. Hope the production won't ruin it.

How many people think CY will end up being received even more positively than NGHFB? I'd love for this to top it

The song on Youtube is pushing 1 million views in 3 weeks. Not that bad considering it hasn't officially been released yet and he isn't Justin Bieber. His VEVO account has a few thousand too so theres obviously some mixing and matching going on

His VEVO account has a few thousand too so theres obviously some mixing and matching going on As of today, 1.37 million views between the three videos. Not bad at all. However, I was hoping for a bit more. The Death Of You And Me gained a lot more views than ITHOTM on it's release. And for In The Heat Of The Moment, it's been a 3 year break since any new material has been heard which was the same as TDOYAM. It could have done much better. I don't think November 17th will make much of a difference in views, as it technically already has been released. Only the b-side will get attention and that's if it's not leaked before then. And more so, ITHOTM is more in line with what mainstream listeners want to hear. The fact that it hasn't done better is not a good sign, especially in comparison to TDOYAM which I wouldn't consider pop rock and yet it gained far more views. 3 years from now, I don't see ITHOTM with 5 million views. I wonder if we can expect a decline in popularity and sales, like what happened with BE? I hope not.

Well jrr isn't listening to us. Today as usual. Supernova was on while I was working out , no mention or sniff f single or even a promo li,e new noel coming , li,e you hear a lot on jrr for bands l..so im not having high hopes in states , sadly EXAMPLE : jrr promoed tne crap out of foo fighters new tune for months. Every time they played foo fighters they would say new music coming soon ,,, and they play that new tune like 10 times a day ....it would be nice after oasis if they did same for noel
