Poor video and poor song. There's got to be better on the album than this .I think his record company wanted a "poppy" song to return with and forced Noels hand in releasing this but it just doesn't work and God knows why they've released that video urgh.

LMAO, now another video(same one) uploaded to his Vevo YouTube channel. This is really bizarre. Which one are we meant to watch?

LMAO, now another video(same one) uploaded to his Vevo YouTube channel. This is really bizarre. Which one are we meant to watch? Probably making a play for his subscribers. It was released through Noisey first, which has 900k subscribers, so a bigger base than Noel's 30k subscribers. One is geared to general audience, so if you subscribe to Noisey and may not be a Noel Gallagher/Oasis fan you would still have been notified through email that a Noel Gallagher video had been posted. So that's to court to a worldwide audience that wouldn't be as plugged in to Noel news as we would be. By posting it on his channel, anyone who subscribes to his channel would receive an email alerting them as to the video. Long story short, it's just them covering their bases and making sure every possible person they can reach, whether fan or not, sees the video and more importantly, clicks on those presale links below.

Yeah, I guess that makes sense. Just seems messy. We already have the non audio released through his official channel. I think releasing through noisey was a good move, because as you mentioned, general audience, lots of subs. But for Vevo, probably anyone subbed to his main channel will be subbed to Vevo too.

As I said, why not cover your bases. Also, they will be getting data on who exactly is viewing the videos and whether they're subscribed to them or not. So they could be seeing a bit of data that they think needs improving. I think it's fine. It's just an extra link out there for someone to find.

''Because who spends hours and money in the studio recording music they don't like?'' well he has never been very enthusiastic about Sunday Morning Call and Who Feels Love for example. Anyway, if this is the worst song of the album, the album must be amazing Yea, years later. But at the time he was hailing that entire album. All I'm saying is looking at the interviews from last album cycle. It's not like he was bright and cheery. All he did was complain about how long he spent in the studio, barely offered any of the music praise in interviews, none of the it's my best work since such and such, looked uncomfortable in every early performance (especially in the first couple televized ones), looked like he didn't want to be there, and then bitched about how much of a pain in the ass touring and being lead singer would be. He's doing those same things at the beginning of this album cycle too. He wasn't that enthusiastic at the beginning of last album cycle, he's not that enthusiastic now. He didnt really pick it up until around T in the Park during the festival season. So far people to try to draw conclusions on the music based on his demeanor and whether he cares about a music video is jumping the gun to me. Give me an album as good or better than HFB's and he can mope where he wants. Didn't he say there were two shit songs on SOTSOG before release? I think that first album was a confidence thing and maybe he did have a few doubts about going it alone. As you say he improved as time went on.

It's pretty good. I'll get the album either way so it doesn't really matter though.
Jeez I haven't been on this site in ages.

I've heard it about 8 times on the radio already, which is more than any song off HFB I don't really listen to the radio much so not heard the song since it was unveiled, so what stations has it been on? This was on a Dutch radiostation, 3FM, which is one of the major stations here so that's good. Very openminded station too. Haven't checked other stations, this is the only one I listen too, and occasionally BBC radio 1 and 2, but radio 2 has obviously played it so

He's on the A-list for Radio 2 (last week he was record of the week) He's on XFM's daytime playlist He's on the 6 music playlist He's getting plays on Absolute radio Not playlisted to Radio 1 but you wouldn't expect him to be. Neither BDI or HFB were playlisted there either. Apparently they have a fairly strict age limit for artists.
I would assume the plays will increase as it comes closer to release date. And presumably Noel will do some more interviews to support it.
