first I would have said "good", but I went with "really good" for the fact alone, that it's not that safe sounding like HFB 1. It has a fresh touch on it and it really grooves. I bet his wife, does like this song more, than the "boring dadrock" (I think that were her words, because she is more into Kasabian) which was HFB 1. Cool tune and good, that the electric guitars are back in business. Hope, there will be more electric tracks on this album.

Pretty good, better than Death of You and Me.

I know very little (well, nothing) about production in any technical sense. But to my ears, the mix sounds better than half the songs on HFB (which I loved). So I am really liking this song. Right now I'm just so excited to be hearing a new song that I might just call it brilliant at the moment, but a more realistic rating would be 'very, very good.' And Noel continues his religious imagery right from the start. The 'na na na's strangely work for me. This disco thing suits him, and I can see this being a smash when it's performed live.

I can't listen to it in Germany Is there any other possibility? Does the youtube video not work for you? That's annoying (I've had that happen to me before since I live in North America, and sometimes can't listen to stuff from the UK).

All I can say , is a lot here are saying after a third listen it's a grower , to me THATS not good , up until doys. I never had to listen to a Oasis. Tune twice to love it , including SOTSOG and I loved BHN. If u need more than 1 listen ...imo. Mind you your trying to hear something you did not at first listen ...the magic of rock , the making of a great tune , you hear once your hooked .....most seem to need more listens. If it wasn't noel most would probably not give it a third listen ....why I believe when this hype ends. The objective listener will be dissapointed ,.,sorry. My opinion. I never had to listen to a song twice let alone 3 times to like ...sounds like people are WANTING TO LIKE ..not all but certainly many .,,me I heard it once. DONT need twice its ..EH. BUT ILL BUY IT CAUSE ITS GALLAGHER RELATED

Damnit. I have that nanananana bit stuck in my head.
It's incredibly catchy but after 3 listens I'm not convinced yet.

Like I said before, it's got soul. It's not the type of song to blow you away, but it's energetic and I think it sets the bar to what we can expect from the rest of the album.
I'm going with really good.

Clint Boon loves it, on XFM now he just played it to open his show then decided he'd play it again straight after.

Disappointed when we heard the snippet. Starting to love it. Fourth listen. Definitely a canny marketing ploy to release this radio friendly tune. snippet had put me of, can't get the tune out of my head now

Those nananas remind me of something Mika would do, which is not a good thing.

And then makes them want to go check out that song on the Internet. I've had that happen to me lots of time before--didn't necessarily become a fan of a song right away, but heard something in it that made me go, 'Who sings that song?' and then I'd look it up and give it a listen. If the song's a grower, it might actually have more staying power. Which I would prefer than just a one-hit sort of thing that later gives way to the next radio-friendly song by some other artist. Mind you, I actually liked this song pretty much immediately when they played it during the Facebook session.

BUT ILL BUY IT CAUSE ITS GALLAGHER RELATED I think there is different type of like it at the 3rd time and like it at the 3rd time. I know what you mean, and its really great to get hooked by a song imidiately, like I was with for example, "Lyla", but I had to listen to Dig out your soul a few times, before I discovered the beauty of the songs. And my intention was not that I have to like Gallagher songs, because they are just people and make mistakes. I tried "Be here now" really really often and the coin never dropped for me. but "dig out your soul" feels now like the girl you had found interesting at the first sight and then your heart made a big bounce and you knew it was love.

Yes...I actually even use a Proxy for youtube, because it's a common problem when you live in Germany, but it's still not working.

the verses are good but the chorus is subpar. God bless. Sums up my thoughts exactly. It's just lacking a stronger chorus. Otherwise it would have been mega.

What I do is look up some famous institution in the UK (like a museum website) and then just use their postcode (er, sorry to the webmaster if I'm breaking rules here. I'll delete this if this constitutes some kind of breach in forum rules).

If it wasn't noel most wouldn't listen twice if they didn't like at first listen , look how many are needing 3 4 5 listens ?? I'm not saying that's bad , im saying I never had to listen 3 4 5 times for any oasis tune TIL doys. To me a song grabs you by throat , that's when it's great. When you need the most fanatical fans of a guy need 3 4 5 listens. , to me not good. That's all
