Cult or not not my concern , the ipad rules don't need a pc. Play tons of games and can take to coffe houses and still be online if that is a cult. I'm. Member

Apple is now telling users to roll back their new iPhones to the first version of iOS 8 after the first update to the operating system caused a raft of problems.

Cult or not haven't had any major issues with any of my Apple products. I hated every PC I ever owned. My Mac is over 6.5 yrs old and still runs great. Has never been in the shop. I'll never go back to a PC and neither will my wife who has a Mac Book Pro.

You can not modify them and they tend to be slower newer than PCs. The list goes on. Windows is not perfect and Linux isn't perfect either. It's really about picking your poison. Everyone knows windows and linux runs different software that aren't mainstream. Too many different versions of linux too. I have all 3 operating systems on one of my pcs.

I have all 3 operating systems on one of my pcs. How old is that meme? Yosemite-Free Mavericks-Free Mountain Lion-$20 Snow Leopard-$29 Windows 7 $120-219 Windows 8 $40 Funny that those overpriced pieces of junk are usually ranked at the top of most review websites and magazines best all in ones and laptops.

The way apple's hardware is built and made is underhanded . Hand held devices are overpriced with no way to removing battery without taking it to a licensed dealer, expensive accessories and itunes controls your media. Previous XOS versions have a specific specs of hardware in order to install. Ripping out extra RAM cards so XOS to install is insane! At least windows and linux encourage custom made computers. 75% of servers are linux base systems. Every business I worked is windows base and I haven't seen Apple much or any at all. Unless it's for personal use, media studios use and I have once seen a newspaper company used Apple computers.

Unless it's for personal use, media studios use and I have once seen a newspaper company used Apple computers. Linux is free but I was commenting on the $99 in the meme. I cant comment on servers because I know nothing about them. Ive replaced the ram on my mac myself however you are correct the new ones are not user upgradable. But Im sure you'd agree the number of people that upgrade their own computers are usually people with a tech background or that are really interested in tech. Most people just use their computers to connect to the internet. For those people Id recommend a $199 Chromebook. My daughter uses one and loves it. Ill be able to upgrade my 6.5 yr old Mac to Yosemite for free but yes I will miss out on some features but that is because the bluetooth card installed is not Bluetooth LE. Why would I need to remove the battery in my phone or tablet? To restart it like I see every android user do when their device freezes up? I wouldnt carry around an extra battery and ive never had one that needed to be replaced. Most people purchase their phones(in the states anyways) on contract so there is no difference in price between the iphones and other flagship smartphones. Id agree ipads are a little overpriced. I prefer the ipad mini but Ive recommended a Nexus 7 to a lot of people because of the price. Itunes is horrible and after I dump the music on it I have no need to use it again because of iCloud back up. What accessories are you talking about? Lightning cables? You can buy those at Walgreens for $5 on the checkout counter.

It's true tech people interested messing with the hardware. Apple is a brand and people pay for the brand. Android system is a weird system and yes base off Linux system, but main problem is cheap hardware. I know for a fact that Apple issues cheap semi conductor chemicals for their chips. Dirty the chemicals hotter the chips. Samsung is the cleanest. I have a cheap pre-paid android smartphone with free hotspot wifi.

It runs Windows. So its a full functioning laptop. They start at $799 and that does not include the keyboard pictured which is $129.
