You know what's crazy? Beady Eye's entire career came and went between Radiohead's "The King of Limbs" and album #9. Pretty wild and sad.

I would rather listen to Pablo Honey or King Of Limbs instead of DGSS.

I would rather listen to Pablo Honey or King Of Limbs instead of DGSS. In no way does The King of Limbs deserve to be in the same sentence as those two. Those last 20 minutes are among the most beautiful in Radioheads catalogue!

Those last 20 minutes are among the most beautiful in Radioheads catalogue! But the first 20 left me speachless. Not good for a 5 year gap between albums. I would rank them as The last 20 minutes of KoL Pablo Honey First 20 KoL Sons of the Stage The singles bar BTL and Beat Goes On The distance between the earth and pluto DGSS

In my opinion they recorded it all wrong, you can hear how it deserves to sound From the Basement - where Bloom is just stunning and Little by Little has some serious power.

The first half of TKOL is amazing imo, but it's probably the most abstract and experimental music in Radiohead's catalog. And that says a fucking lot considering that Kid A and Amnesiac exist. It is a little hard to digest that strange rhythmic experimentation.

It is a little hard to digest that strange rhythmic experimentation. I think the first half of TKOL is rather conventional and abstract by numbers. Kind of what you had expected, but not what you wanted. The album was a bit of a let down (ha!) for me, after all. Bloom is a fantastic song though and the songs to form a further In Rainbows quality record would definitely have been there. Recently, Codex came on shuffle on my Ipod (I usually don't shuffle), while I was travelling on a train and I completely lost it for a moment, astonishingly beautiful song.

Happy 15th Kid A! Still every bit an amazing album. Funny how it and MG share the same birthday, even though they couldn't be further from each other stylistically!

That's neat news but incriminating at the same time, now I'll be eagerly checking my music newsfeeds every morning, desperately waiting the announcement of either the Be Here Now reissue (there is still hope somewhere!) or the new Radiohead record. Talkin' of first world problems...

Exciting news for sure. We all know Radiohead likes to drop albums suddenly out of nowhere. We are all on alert now.

I remember Ed or Thom saying that it took them two weeks to tracklist OK Computer. Hopefully that means we'll all have the album by mid November.

Jonny and Thom clarified on Twitter that they have finished some stuff and are hoping to tour next year. Don't hold breath over a 2015 release.

Thom retweeted:
"No IT ain't ready yet" Emphasis on the Capitals.
£15,000 says "IT" is the title of the album.
