Radiohead in Columbus tonight. Just saying.... Some one asked me if I wanted to go and I turned them down.....I know several people who are going; I'm sure it'll be an amazing show.... My reason for not going: as I've said on here multiple times, Radiohead is by far the best live show I've ever seen.....and again, I saw them in a small high school auditorium for the Ok Computer Tour; I went to a big high school, like 2,000, I think that's a big high school, anyway.....the Radiohead show I saw them at was probably a high school auditorium for about maybe 500 kids, no more than a thousand......small for a huge rock band to play at for sure. Anyway, I really don't wanna take a chance of ruining that experience, but, like I said, I know tonight's show will be amazing but I just can't do it. God bless. |

Oasis fans who dismiss bands like Radiohead because they’re “not working class enough” like it’s still 1996 really bug me. I can’t believe I still encounter people like that in 2018 Its a real cave man rock attitude to have. They worked just as hard as any other band coming up during that era. Gutting it out on the road, playing the promos game. Building a fan base globally. |

I still keep in contact with the two friends I went with to that show.....I went to that show with no expectations; I liked Radiohead but was a casual fan and left with Radiohead as my favorite band......mind you, this is in Oasis' glory days. I keep up with those two friends I went with mainly via Facebook these days......despite wanting to delete Facebook because eva and mimmihopps constantly posting pics of their kids and their pets - Facebook's great for staying in contact with old friends.....in the past year or two I posted on Facebòók to those two friends about how great that Radiohead show was and they both agreed how once in a lifetime it was...... One day I'll see Radiohead again.....and I know it'll be amazing. Thanks. |

If they tried to force it it would probably sound tired and flat, like so many bands who’ve been going donkeys years. Radiohead has only made three albums since 2004, because they know that there has to be a real creative reason for them to get together, and then you get albums like In Rainbows and A Moon-Shaped Pool. |

Obviously Thom is releasing two albums (Suspiria and 3rd solo), Ed is just now finishing up his debut solo album. Jonny is making more film score work as is Phil. They just did a rather large USA tour last summer. I think a huge break is coming. In late 2020 we will get the Kid A sessions reissue. That’ll be tremendous when that day comes. |
