A very F Society influenced teaser for the special edition. Can't wait for mine to arrive.

Very subtle beauty. My top 3 off the album could/might be..................... 1. BLOOM 2. LOTUS FLOWER 3. GIVE UP THE GHOST Plus all 3 sound FANTASTIC live.

I don't know, I like the album version as well, but Godrich's mix has more interesting stuff going (neo-psychedelic undertones, experimental electronic programming). Basically a riskier production standard than what we got from the band in the 2000s.

On first listen to a shitty quality WMA, it's a very moody track that's kind of a cross between their more recent organic sound and the "bleep bloop" sound found on Backdrifts and The Gloaming. Very atmospheric and haunting. I hate to make any judgments before hearing it in good quality, but I can see why it was left off AMSP. But like nearly all Radiohead songs, it'll probably grow on me.

I'm really liking the Can influenced guitar parts of "Ill Wind". The keyboard/synthesizer lines are similar to "Supercollider" but more spooky. Feels like an Amnesiac song.

It's a good b-side, but obviously not AMSP level. I'm still really upset Cut a Hole was not be a LP9-era song, would have fit their current style perfectly. I'm not sure I'll prefer it in its Afro-pop disco version on LP11...

Which Yorke is your favourite? I vote Kid A/mnesiac. Is that a Shake Weight in Bends-era Thom's hand?

Radiohead are absolutely phenomenal live, especially for a band who I consider a 'studio band' first and foremost.
I got the deluxe boxset of Kid A, and you'd think a studio effort like that couldn't be replicated in a live setting, but lo and behold, it equals, if not betters, the studio interpretations.

I consider them equal studio band and live band. They can absolutely shred it live and make Oasis look like a middle school garage band. The guitars on The Bends and Ok Computer easily outshine the output of Noel on DM or MG. That might shock many on here but it's true. If you really want to hear great Radiohead bootlegs I suggest: - Utrecht 1997 - Berlin 2000 - Nijmegen 2000 - Warrington 2000 - Bonnaroo 2006 Berlin probably being the best.

I love the icier, more inhuman beat they use on the live versions of Idioteque.

I saw them at Lolla at his incredible. They were incredible. They were band in complete control of each other, their music, and their setting. It's a testament to what a tight working band can do. They played every song I wanted except Reckoner and Airbag. This is what they played at Lolla: Burn the Witch Daydreaming Ful Stop 2 + 2 = 5 Myxomatosis My Iron Lung Climbing Up the Walls No Surprises Pyramid Song Bloom Identikit The Numbers The Gloaming Weird Fishes/Arpeggi Everything in Its Right Place Idioteque There There Encore: Let Down Present Tense Paranoid Android Nude Bodysnatchers Encore 2: Street Spirit (Fade Out) Karma Police

An Ed solo album has me rock hard. I've wanted one since about 2004. In my head I picture short, rock tunes but after this, who knows.

I'm not really a fan of Radiohead but love the song Burn The Witch, thought i'd look it up of them doing it live.
Is he taking the piss with that vocal? especially the second half of the song. It's one of the worst things I've ever heard.
