Awesome show last night for MSG night 2. Got lucky and heard Let Down for a 2nd time in my life. A crazy rave dance broke out on stage during the ending of "Idiotheque" it was amazing. So amazing they can go from that straight into a rock song like "There There". The 2nd encore was pure fire by the band. My highlights in bold. Burn the Witch Daydreaming Decks Dark Desert Island Disk Ful Stop My Iron Lung Climbing Up the Walls Morning Mr. Magpie Pyramid Song Bloom Identikit The Numbers The Gloaming Weird Fishes/Arpeggi Everything in Its Right Place Idioteque There There
Encore:

I'm really hoping Jonny Greenwood releases another solo album. I kinda want a proper solo album. His previous ones are all rooted in soundtracks for films and documentaries. I'd like to see him do something totally independent. I expect weird and wild results. Bring it Jonny you fucking maniac.

Now that I'm in college, my days once again start with drinking a nice warm mug of coffee in a rainswept garden to the sounds of Daydreaming. Very calming - and then a smooth 45 minute bus journey across the hills to Wigan.
Not bad, not bad at all.

Why did he play so many of his own songs? Is that not a bit...weird? I think the other host picked half the songs, and the Radiohead ones. I Might Be Wrong, though. (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!)

Why did he play so many of his own songs? Is that not a bit...weird? They played 2-3 of his songs leading into his spot. Probably for some simple pub. Pretty much done for everyone. He mostly played electric electronic and hip hop.

What's your favourite Radiohead song lyrically? At this moment. I'm torn between Myxomatosis, Burn the Witch, A Wolf at the Door, and Idioteque. Thom does doom-mongering paranoia better than anyone else. All of them!

Thom does doom-mongering paranoia better than anyone else. When I’m at the pearly gates This will be on my videotape, my videotape Mephistopheles is just beneath and he’s reaching up to grab me
This is one for the good days and i have it all here In red, blue, green Red, blue, green
You are my center When I spin away Out of control on videotape On videotape On videotape On videotape
This is my way of saying goodbye Because I can’t do it face to face I’m talking to you before
No matter what happens now You shouldn’t be afraid Because I know today has been the most perfect day I’ve ever seen...

I'm hoping that this performance is part of a larger project. Paul Thomas Anderson directed it. Gotta be more to this perhaps.....

Only just started appreciating You off Pablo Honey. Good little tune, Thom's vocals half way through are stunning. Can't link that young man with the Thom from Daydreaming, though - feels like two different people to me.

Sure it is by no means a masterpiece on any level but it does contain many songs I revisit often. - You - Creep (Duh!!!!!!!!) - Stop Whispering - Thinking About You - I Can't - Lurgee - Blow Out
