They have 'You' and 'Blow Out' on the same album yet choose to play this. Lame. I know Thom probably got them to do it as a big f you to everyone saying his voice sucks now but still.

I loved the audacity of opening their 2009 gigs with Creep as a "fuck you" to all of those who only go to concerts to hear that song, in effect showing them the door after the performance ended. But if they wanted to take the piss in Paris then they should've encored with Pop Is Dead.

I've had the pleasure of hearing "Creep" live twice. Both in 2003 on the Hail To The Thief tour. Never got "True Love Waits" and I'm 8 Radiohead gigs deep.

Ive never been a fan not appreciate that tune. To me it always kills the album dead in its tracks, same when I hear it live. There There and Myxomatosis are my favorite HTTT era songs.

Aw man, it's in my top 10 post Kid A tracks! After the explosive opening of 2+2=5 and There There, it grounds the album a bit, then with my track listing it flows well right into Where I End and You Begin.

I know it doesn't seem to by highly rated by the hardcore Radiohead fans ( The Escapist ), but the last part of "Tinker Tailor Soldier Sailor Rich Man Poor Man Beggar Man Thief" with those awesome Bernard Herrmann-inspired strings is probably my favorite musical moment of the year so far.

The real question is: " Are we at a nadir as fans of Bernard Herrmann?"
