Done. When do you delete your old account? or do we have to disable it again? You've had more than enough time man. OK I've merged the best of both accounts into my new account. I sent you a message about deleting my @beherenowisbiblical account mimmihopps (I don't have that as an option in the account settings). Thanks. It's like you've had a remastered/reissued user account name. Fitting for this thread i guess

Noel is 100% correct. Leave it be in terms of editing it down. It's a perfect snap shot for the times. Few albums can say that.

I don't understand why people don't want a re-edited version with the remaster. The original will still be there for you. You can have either one of these two situations:
A) The original only B) The original and a re-edit
Seems simple to me.

It would be like going to a party and drinking non-alcoholic beer all night.

Could be interesting to hear what would change and what they would do with it, especially if they would decide to bring certain aspects, like the strings on D'You Know What I Mean, or the horns on Don't Go Away more in front of the mix.

leave it the way it is and re-issue with a wealth of demo's etc,,i remember getting a edited version from jims blog a while back it was called Sonic Love noize it was brilliant for a fan edit but i have to agree with noel the way it is,is what makes it so great overblown self indulgent chaos

let it be movie = be here now reissue The difference is that the former actually has a reason why it still hasn't come out, the other doesn't.

From the same interview: Um Noel do you know how many classic albums have been made which are about artists' personal lives? ?

I was only turning 3 years of age a day after this record was released, but listening to it now, it's actually not that bad. Certainly no Definitely Maybe or Morning Glory, but hey - the fuckery, arrogant, cocaine-fuelled tunes kinda make that record what it is, and showed where they were at that point. Some tunes will definitely live on and last through the test of times. I usually don't give a stuff about music videos, but even some of those videos looked like they were filmed yesterday. I suppose I'd have to have been there in '97 at a certain age to really give a point on it at that time, but I think the record can be appreciated primarily by a core fan-base with time.
Me ma was telling me she remembers all the press hype, gagging orders, and such about this record. It's crazy how hyped it was. I'd love a reissue. Vinyl repress wouldn't go down badly either.

The Gallagher brothers were frequent visitors to the pub at the end of my street in Hampstead. I only found this out a couple years ago, and I was only 10 in 1997 so bugger that. But I'm proud I can boast that!

Kinda think it will be reissued next year though, if it really is 'gonna occur. 20th anniversary and all that. Especially if the documentary is anything as successful as the Amy Winehouse one. If anything is 'gonna be released, it'll be a DVD/Blu Ray of the Knebworth shows. Confuses me why that has never been released, considering everything they (most likely) probably have of it.

I don't know, but I nearly lost my hope in it. Shame to the management to never give us a feedback...

I´m begging for Noel or/and management do things a little more smart this time ( I mean, for the fans): common guys, there´s a lot of video footage from the Be Here Now era... Right Here Right Now documentary, TV performances, live gigs recorded... Please do something they way you wanted it to see from your favourite bands... The G-Mex concert in DVD format, to see finally a good version of it. REM collected all of their MTV performances and released them in DVD/Bluray format... 6 discs full of performances!!!!!!! Common guys... The demos... live performances not that obvious or different from the shows that had been around for years in good quality.... AHHHHHHH and please bring a proffessinal to work on the ¨remaster¨, because there´s not a lot of difference in the remasters of DM & MG... Be Here Now deserves a better work, since is the first album in which you really went a little far with your music... there´s a lot of details hidden behind the noisy final result... a great album, maybe their best, but it needs re-work on the sound... please don´t leav it to one of your friends, hire a pro... and Noel: let him do his work... you are not that good in changing things, DM & MG are the proofs...

It's obvious when this will come out - after the Oasis film currently in production.
