DYKWIM actually has some great lyrical content and lyrics, as well. It might be the most menacing, bad ass Oasis song, too. And it's brilliant live - the guitar solo in the studio version doesn't do it justice, but at Earls Court '97? Fucking hell, it's top!

Was Brian Cannon the one who slagged Liam's performance at the Olympics off? There was this tweet but I haven't seen anything that slags Liam performance wise

Here's a crazy thought: what if everybody is suspiciously silent about the BHN reissue because Noel really intends to release something early next year and he doesn't want any Oasis release to overlap with it? I know we're talking about Noel and it will never happen, but it would make sense for most artists: the tour starts again in the spring, he's going to be recording new stuff this autumn/winter and he was aiming to have it finished by the end of the year.
Again, I don't believe it will happen, but maybe it's Noel's intention. Just a quick thought.

It will be the first time Sad Song is released in Europe on a CD Eh??
It's on the DM reissue because it's a DM era song recorded in 94,
Don't let the Japanese DGA single fool you!

I forgot about the DM reissue, and of course I know it's recorded in 94...

I've been wondering about this for a while. Fans will buy both anyway, anybody else is more likely to be interested in one or the other after already buying and liking the other one.

I haven't listened to the album in an entire fucking year, to "prepare" myself (even though it'll sound the same). What's another year then? What, like none of the tunes? Not even D'You Know What I Mean?! I can't imagine what a DYou Know What I Mean-less year would be like. Didn't explain myself well. I hadn't listened to the album front to back in a year, however I had listened to all of the tunes in a playlist, except All Around The World, It's Getting Better and My Big Mouth. I just listened to the album, from beginning to end. And fuck me, it's brilliant! I completely forgot how fucking rocking My Big Mouth is. Definitely prefer BHN to WTSMG.

For us fans, yes, but the general public will always pay more attention to anything with the Oasis logo, even if it's the reissue of a lacklustre album. And even if it doesn't matter in sales terms, we know we're not going to have overlapping releases.

Also, I believe it was on a bonus CD with the original French release.

Was Brian Cannon the one who slagged Liam's performance at the Olympics off? Who didn't though?

The general public will pay little attention to a reissue that is considered the release that ended the party. Its aimed at us.

Definitely Maybe reissue did just under 20,000 on it's first week DM Link with a large proportion on vinyl, which made it one of the bigger sellers in the format for 2014. Don't have the Morning Glory figures to hand but I would think it did well, given that The Official Chart company had DM, WTSMG and BHN in 1st, 2nd and 18th respectively for the biggest selling vinyl releases of the past 20 years in Oct 2013- Link
