It's almost as if Noel and/or his management don't want us to hear anything. I mean seriously, what the fuck is taking so long on Chasing Yesterday the album, the singles and BHN???

Announcing an album and then not releasing it is a bit rude.
But announcing two albums and then not releasing them... he may as well have kicked my door down on Christmas Day and screwed the turkey. While wearing orange jeans.

Probably spending all the time working on the logistics for the 2016 reunion. You heard it here first. Good tidings. X

What's the deal with franklomax? If I recall corectly he had the live version of stop the clocks(Live in zanizbar pub liverpool 2002/3) for years before someone posted it online on 2007. He had access to the DBTT demo cd as well(where there is studios versions of STC, Record Machine, Aint Got Nothing(labelled they got nothing on me, they got nothing on you), and several others). If I was him I would either kept my mouth shut about it or leak it the minute I can without the shit talk it preceded, but that's just me. Is that right eva jim mimmihopps ? My memory is kinda a blur about those days...

I sometimes wish Noel was more open about his demos with fans like Rivers Cuomo(weezer) was in the early 2000's he could release some kind of Alone albums(unreleased scrapped songs, alternate versions, etc.) and I would buy it in/'em a heartbeat

The only things to add to that is Frank continually dangled Stop The Clocks in front of everyone (Live4ever, The Soapbox, The Masterplan / Stop The Clocks forums). He wrote numerous "reviews" about the Zanzibar gig, has made multiple accounts, claimed on more than one occasion to have more unreleased tracks, he didn't by the way. His plan was blown out the water when the Don't Believe The Truth session CD leaked, he had no leverage in a trade he was attempting to set up and he has assumed a serious issue with certain made up characters like "Pete Bones". Since then he shows up every so often when a demo or unreleased track gets released, trolls and spams a lot of threads and accuses people of hoarding and not sharing anything (exactly what he done with STC I may add). He's a total nutjob, had the chance to be a legend in the online Oasis community, instead he lost the plot. It's been over 6 years, he needs to get a grip, stop posting nonsense and give us all peace!

That's pretty sad.
I've been reading a lot in this forum before I joined and some of it wasn't pretty indeed.

This will soon be the case with the Mustique demos due to the extremely highly probability of at least some of them being released sometime in the near future. Those holding on to them may as well leak them now and become legends, the thought of some smug bastards somewhere listening to the Mustique demos with a big grin makes me sick

I'll quote myself. Two days until Christmas, come on! If you're too shy you can send the ripped tracks to me and I'll share them with the world without any problem Whoever you are and wherever you are, if you read this please listen to our prayers Another thing comes to my mind: exactly three years ago (well actually three years before yesterday) we got the awesome Masters Safety Copy of DM, thanks to Howdo. It would be great to have a rip of the Mustique tape as a wonderful Christmas present. I know it's out there, someone's got it for sure. Make your fellow fans happy, whoever you are. Become a legend

If I remember right it is a cracking story how the lad (can't remember his name) got a hold of the Don't Believe The Truth demo cd. Could anyone further elaborate on this? I've always wondered how the disc leaked out. I believe these 9 outtakes came from an early session for the album, very likely before they went to LA with Sardy. Would be interesting to learn through which dark channels the leaker got hold of the tracks. Perhaps this might shed some light on to where they were recorded, just to place them in the timeline appropriately.

Haha that's absurd, what's the point of not releasing something? If you've got something rare making it not rare doesn't reduce your enjoyment of it does it? Or at least it shouldn't. I kind of get holding onto it to trade but then the same logic applies to the person you're trading it to, if everyone released everything then there'd be no need to hoard even for trades.

Yes the CD was recorded after they ditched DIV but before meeting Sardy, however dates I don't know, our best guess would be to get in touch with Strangeboy and ask him if he was part of the session.

Noel, stop being c-u-n-t-y and release this reissue. Yep, I don't give a fuck what other people or even Noel thinks about it, I fucking love that album, its loud, obnoxious, and Liam sounds great, so what if the songs are long, saves me having to put them on again.

He's a total nutjob, had the chance to be a legend in the online Oasis community, instead he lost the plot. It's been 6 years, he needs to get a grip, stop posting nonsense and give us all peace! Alright going to clear the air on this and I'm NEVER mentioning it again, so please don't play pen it lol. This is becoming a sort of dirty pornographic myth that is re-hashed to death any time Lomax rears his head because he cannot let it go lol. I've even spoken to him directly over the past few years and tried to get him to let it go, but this is really all he has anymore. Firstly, I was "Pete Bones". I was once an admin on The Soapbox when it was an active Oasis forum and for a while after that aspect of it fizzled away. That aspect of it has long since died AFAIK (not been on there in a few years), but Pete Bones was a real person. It was me lol. What Jim states here is true. Lomax appeared on the scene and legitimately had gotten a hold of a "holy grail" at the time. He had the entire Zanzibar recording. He shared the majority of it bar "Stop The Clocks" and then set out on a crusade to completely hammer the track like he was special and stick it up everyone's asses. Needless to say he pissed a lot of people he shouldn't have off with his lack of tact. A bunch of us who had some level of "leadership" on various Oasis forums/collectors sites decided to band together, a.k.a. The Mafia lol. We tried to get him to "trade" it to us for a fabricated Mustique tape, which NO ONE is or was in actual possession of at the time. Many of these people are still very involved in Oasis sites. Not going to name names, but I see them on here and on some of the other collectors forums all the time and a lot of the names on Lomax's "roster" are real. Our plan failed, Lomax was a bit sharper than we gave him credit for and our plan was not executed well. We left it alone after that and figured eventually he'd probably relent and share the track in the future. Fast forward a couple of months and this fellow named Jamie appeared on the scene one night. He was drunk. He showed up on the Soapbox and shared a few of the DBTT session tracks with a select few as naturally no one believed what he had when he said he did. In private, he shared Stop The Clocks, Record Machine, and at least two others with two of us. We agreed not to "leak" the tracks as he was going to make sure there were no more. It was a smart decision b/c there very well could've been more, but it turns out there wasn't. Over the next few weeks, somehow Lomax and Jamie got hooked up and neither of them could tell the truth to each other lol. They were in a battle of lies trying to outdo each other in trade and it became a big fucking joke. Finally, one night, myself and 1 other user posted Jamie's tracks to Rapidshare links b/c we were sick of it. Not 15 minutes after this happened, Lomax shared the live Stop The Clocks thus ending the whole charade. Since then Lomax keeps carrying his grudge and bringing this up over and over and over and over again. I am not sorry for it but I am sorry everyone has to deal with his baloney constantly as its most definitely partially my fault. Its 6 years ago and its probably never going to end, but this is literally what happened and why. Lomax isn't wrong about the "Mafia", but we failed. He screwed himself in the end. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Back to the thread at hand, I came into this thread tonight hoping for some news on the reissue, but greeted with Lomax garbage. At any rate, hopefully it comes this year but I dont have a lot of faith with Noel being busy with his own album/tour/etc. He's an asshole.

6 and a half years on this forum and the name franklomax was always familiar - only now I know the full story. Blimey, if someone is that precious about a couple of demos and sends everyone on a wild goose chase ONLINE, then you seriously need to ask questions about their quality of life. Unbelievable.
