I'm really curious about that second Don't Go Away demo. I hope it's an old one, maybe with Liam on vocals (but chances on that are pretty slim, I guess). I fear it could be another "fake" demo, i.e. a rough soundcheck recording. There must be something *different* to the Mustique version - maybe the lyrics were totally redone, maybe it's another melody, maybe Liam is on it. Having said that, maybe it is the same and they've just included the Mustique version for completions sake. Im hoping it could be this, going from oasis previous use of the word "demo" it could be anything, the married with children demo was the official version with a tambourine in the background so it very well could be, time will tell.

It's weird, a few days ago I wanted to start a thread if songs like Columbia, Be Here Now and The Hindu Times had a other title then how they ended up on the album. I hope the Oasisinet store will update the picture of the boxset just like DM and MG. Where you can see all the stuff. Yeah I was wondering that as well, I'm sure they will.

I hope the merchandise is a dice like the IHITIK promo cover. I'd like something to do with the clock in the box as that's always been associated with that era and on stage at the tours.

What I'd really love would be a Be Here Now WALL CLOCK - that would be a cool piece of merch.

Also interesting to see no HEROES or STREET FIGHTING MAN despite there being extra room on CD 2. The b-side HELTER SKELTER was also recorded during the BE HERE NOW sessions. It's a money issue i think. Bowie's camp and Rolling Stones were probably asking for too much money. Yeah I agree it will be about money. The stones and Bowie woild have got a cut from sales I suppose. I think the same applies to the stand by me by the pool as it was filmed by the BBC for their documentary "right here right now" so they would also get a cut if it was put on the cd

The second time Liam sings "His people won't fly through the storm" gets me every time. Brilliant.

I fear it could be another "fake" demo, i.e. a rough soundcheck recording. I'll bet you that it's another acoustic demo recorded in Mark Coyle's bedroom in 1992. The song is certainly old enough to have been demoed then. (remember how the chorus resembles that of a Realies song?)

Fuck it, i'm gonna order the Vinyl, CD and Super Deluxe Box Set. Yeah Yeah Yeah! Along with the other vinyl reissues not sure if i'll be able to afford any beer this month... Oh well You know the CD and Vinyl will come with boxset? Yeah but i'd like 2 copies anyway, just so I don't have to spend ridiculous sums in years to come if one of the copies breaks/gets a bad scratch etc.

So, Trip inside is an early version of Be Here Now? What about If we shadows? Any idea if this is an early work of a song we know or if it's one we haven't heard?

That song cropped up at the very very end of BHN, if not once sessions were complete. Who knows.

A bit off Topic but can anyone tell me where this performance is from?
I have been going back through the BHN era and this for me is the greatest Noel performance of Fade In Out. Can't wait to hear the Mustique version

I'm playing the DYKWIM 2016 Rethink from YouTube on my TV screen and looking at the new artwork I noticed a couple of fun things.
1. There is a huge garbage bin at the top of the stairs. You can also see it on the original cover but it was hard to tell what it was.
2. There is a police officer by the Oasis logo, really far from the crowd. You can actually see him on the original cover but among the crowd.
3. The boy in front of Bonehead and Guigsy is wearing oversized shoes.
4. The guy in the gray suit really needs to turn up the hem of his trousers.
5. You can still see Brian Cannon's father among the crowd (right between Alan and Noel) wearing white and blue. He also appears on the Some Might Say cover and on The Masterplan cover (also inside of The Masterplan's booklet).
6. Noel's sense of fashion has improved a lot since 1997.
