Those are not the mustique demos.
We've had one track from that session, Angel Child. That is what you should expect.

Those are definitely not the Mustique demos. They somehow ended up on a bootleg cassette I got around a month before BHN was released. Owen Morris's theory sounds the most plausible.
I personally cannot wait to hear the Mustique tape - been waiting too long now. I just hope that those songs / recordings live up to their 'Holy Grail' status.
Another thing while I'm here... Are these coffee table books actually worth the extra dosh? For DM and MG I just got the 3 cd special editions as I couldn't see the justification of the price tag, particularly if you've already got the vinyl. Is there anything in these books that we wouldn't already have read about, funny anecdotes etc or just outtake photos?

what is Stand By Me (Live At Bonehead’s Outtake)? this? I dont think so. Could be but I doubt it. That version is hardly an 'outtake' That version of Stand By Me was taped at Bonehead's home at the time (mid 1997), in Chesire... It deserved an official release anyway.

Such a shame a decent version of the Right Here Right Now doc isn't being included as a bonus DVD. All the versions online are pretty ropey quality. Apparently they were filmed for that doco performing or miming to every song on the Be Here Now album. Wonder if the original raw footage survives?

I wonder if the alternate mix of My Big Mouth mentioned by Noel in this Shortlist interview is usable. The way it's referred to seems a bit ambiguous, like it was maybe attempted but not finished.

Agreed mate, it's a great doc of that time right here right now. Think it was aired the week before be here now came out. If I remember there's a great scene where there playing pool in a pub having a pint and mani from the roses just knocks on the window of the pub and starts talking to liam.

So has it been confirmed that we're getting at least one Japanese bonus track? Putting my money on the 1992 demo of Going Nowhere that was recorded in Mark Coyle's bedroom.

I think you're right or a live track from G-Mex. I'm afraid for the Knebworth release, we already have in HD: Champagne Supernova, Cast No Shadow, Don't Look Back In Anger (2nd night), Morning Glory and The Masterplan. Columbia, Wonderwall, The Masterplan, Champagne Supernova and now My Big Mouth in audio...

Would be nice to have a proper version of it.

So apart from the Mustique demo there is another demo of DON'T GO AWAY here. Given that Noel described it as an "old" song even in 1997 I wonder when that other demo comes from.

Also interesting to see no HEROES or STREET FIGHTING MAN despite there being extra room on CD 2.
The b-side HELTER SKELTER was also recorded during the BE HERE NOW sessions.

It suddenly crossed my mind that it may be another acoustic demo recorded in Mark Coyle's bedroom along with Hello, She's Electric, Rocking Chair, and Going Nowhere. I'm pretty sure it dates back to at least 1993, considering the stolen chorus from the Realies' Feel the Pain.

Hence, I dont give that much about the track name. I expect the SBM "outtake" to be the "by the pool"-version, what would be awesome.

It's definitely that version. I thought the same, but somewhere I saw the tracklist with the running time and it says that this version is longer than 6 minutes. The one by the pool is not close that...

Sad theres not the All around the world version from the Boardwalk on it. But I think there's just no complete record of it...

The one by the pool is not close that... Maybe they recorded several versions "by the pool" and this is a version that wasn't used - hence it being listed as an "outtake".

Got it on a bootleg DVD I bought off eBay. Pretty good version to be fair, a proper DVD version would have been good I suppose
