no sign of any promo at my former radio station 3fm. Been asking around a bit but no one has heard anything about a new Noel Gallagher single. Your former radio station? Did you work there? i was an intern there for a while

i was an intern there for a while That's so cool! How was it? Were you an intern at one of the shows? If so, which one? 3FM is my favourite radiostation! it was great, learned a lot about the business, worked with some amazing people behind the scenes. The dj's were pretty arrogant though. Annemieke Schollaardt was great though, she likes a lot of the music i like. Shame she can only play a few songs of her choice, like all the dj's really, except for Giel Beelen

Revolution Songs would be the perfect album title.

I actually wouldn't mind him doing a Zeppelin or McCartney and just going with Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds II. Just cause some album names are terrible.

I was super doubtful but this does look good for the original poster.

Highly unlikely but since this Q&A is on a Monday, maybe Noel announces it and it will be on iTunes and the shops the minute he mentions it. Sorta like U2 and Thom Yorke over the last 3-4 weeks. At least the fucking single for crying out loud.

Mmm maybe but that doesn't sound like Noel. He likes to take his time and linger on. But hey, if it's released soon, good!

To me it makes sense to get it out this calendar year. January is a dead zone, that wouldn't be a wise choice for Noel. Other artist have proven (with success) that you can release an album on short notice and reap the benefits.
