i really think the idea of kidnapping someone for more information on Noel's album is being overlooked... i mean, i'm not happy if i'm not breaking the law at least once every day....granted, most of time i'm not committing felonies but whatever. God bless. Great idea! I'll get on it. I'll wear my catsuit (ew not one of those kinky ones, I'm a classy spy) and will break in to his headquarters. Someone will have to go with me to let me down with a rope through the roof window. I'll look for information in the offices and if that won't work I'll just kidnap one of those weak spotty guys who work there and tie him up to a chair and then we can torture him until he will tell us all. I would love to see Gem back up there with Noel, he is a much better guitarist than that American guy Noel had. He has played with him once at The Albert Hall since Oasis split. It might cause tensions with Liam though, so who knows.

I don't know if it is all the binge watching television shows/spotifying I've done over the past few years, but I can't bear the thought or getting a single one month, waiting a month or two, getting another single and then waiting a couple of months for the whole album. Just give us all the shit at once! We're addicts!!! Noel doesn't have the balls to do that. He's still stuck in 1965 release patterns. He doesn't have the balls of steel bands like Radiohead and U2 have. I said it before and I'll say it again. If Apple gave Noel $100 million he'd do the exact same thing as U2. |

I asked Brian Cannon via Facebook private message what the first single and release date would be and he said, "fuck off" - but he didn't give the release date...so at least we know the name of the first single.

There are songs that just are a perfect first singles you know. They come out of nowhere and all they supposed to do is to say " I'm back ". They build a mood around the album, they make you guess, they still make you more excited for the thing that's coming even if you hear them just on fuckin' soundcloud or whatever. It's not all about charts and sales i think. Never really was. I hate the idea of putting a full new album on a webiste for free. Anytime this happens it makes me don't want to listen to it. It's like, if they do it why don't they put every single song they write and record sometime in the year and just go and post it on facebook and go: "Here, here, here. Take it, we're already bored." Absolutely agree. The whole excitement about rumors, announcements, then the weeks leading up to the release/leak, not to mention the madness on this forum - it makes an album much more interesting. Of course, no album can survive on hype alone, but if you have a great album, might as well make it exciting. |

However, with today's improvised release patterns, it can technically go on sale as soon as an artist wants it to. |
