Led Zeppelin IV pisses all over Physical Graffiti. Tune after tune after tune. All classic rock staples on the radio today. Can't say that about Physical.

This is probably an unpopular opinion but my favorite Led Zeppelin records are I - III. IV is probably song by song their strongest but I love those early blues records. The production is so basic and the band plays with a fearlessness of a live act. Their later stuff is certainly more interesting and varied but theres a bit of excess in some of those records. Not saying thats a bad thing because I love pretty much all of Zeppelin's stuff but their dark, smokey blues period is just no bullshit rock n' roll. I'm glad they moved on from it and continued to make outstanding records and songs like "The Rain Song," "Kashmir," "Down By The Seaside," "D'Yer Mak'er," etc.
When i think classic rock they are the first band that comes to mind.

Four Sticks and Rock And Roll are pretty average imo. That's down to just six tunes already... There's more tunes on the second disc of Physical alone

Joy Division - Unknown pleasures Oasis - Don't believe the truth Kasabian - Empire REM - Lifes rich pageant Life of agony - Broken valley I think, those are the ones I'd find it most hard to have to live without. If I have to choose only one from the whole Gallagherism, maybe I could swap it for "Be here now" or maybe even Beady Eye's BE. I guess, it's time to leave now.

i got that yesterday, too. God bless. Good for you! I'm not sure if it's their best, but it's my favorite because it's got "Begin the begin" which is my favorite song of them and the unearthly "Fall on my" as well as a few other lovely songs.

'Fall On me' is one of my favorite R.E.M. Songs, too... God bless.

I got Physical Graffiti today. God bless. Led Zeppelin IV pisses all over Physical Graffiti. Tune after tune after tune. All classic rock staples on the radio today. Can't say that about Physical. Sorry Led Zeppelin Self titled debut pisses them both. Perfection from start to finish although Zeppelin are one of the few bands that never made a bad album.
