What a nice little gig it was! I tried to rip it, let's see if I got something or not.
The setlist was:
The Tracers Bigmouth Strikes Again Jeopardy Day In Day Out New Dominions Hi Hello Getting Away With It Bug Walk Into the Sea Easy Money How Soon Is Now? There Is a Light That Never Goes Out

Streaming was a pain, but great job Johnny and his lads! Pity that they didn't play Hey Angel.

I got a rip in 720p, it doesn't look too bad!
EDIT: it does look bad actually. It has a lot of skips and I don't know why the recording stopped during How Soon Is Now.

I've uploaded Hi Hello too.
It's nice to see some details of the blue Fender Jaguar that Johnny is playing here. It has a sustainer pick-up in the neck position (the same one used by Ed O' Brien from Radiohead) which he uses for the "bow-like" solo at the end of the song.

Thank you very much for sharing your capture, carlober. Johnny was cool as f**k as always. Can't wait to see him in December again!

outstanding work as usual carlober thanks! While I'm at it... here's Getting Away With It. I love Johnny's version... the instrumental break in the middle is heavenly. In Johnny's words... "this is a disco song from Manchester, England!"

"this is a disco song from Manchester, England!" Everybody loved and danced along with this song when I saw Johnny in 2014 and in May this year. So, carlober and durk, get your dancing shoes ready for our upcoming Johnny's gig. As durk said, the band was so tight. He's got talented 3 musicians on his side!

wow johnny was on fire there on guitar - especially in latter half. that may be one of the best versions of that song live i've heard- and i've heard many. i think he is actually getting younger. reverse aging!

That's what I thought the other day too! When I look my picture with Johnny 11 years ago, he really looks younger now. I think being a vegetarian and running every day makes him fitter. He's happy with himself, his life, his music and his band and if Johnny is happy, I'm happy too.

Now that I've finally had the chance to listen to the album 3 times I can give some of my thoughts on it. I quite like it, but it's not as strong as The Messenger (which i'd rate as a 9-9.5/10) but definitely better than Playland (decent but nothing too special at 6.5/10). I'd give this one a 7-7.5.
Besides Hi Hello which I've loved since it premiered, My favourites are Spiral Cities, Rise, and New Dominions (I know it's not a popular tune but I love how it grates on and on and doesn't go anywhere really). Walk into the Sea, Day in day Out, and My Eternal (which reminds me a bit of BRMC).
Bug reminds me a lot of Bummed era Happy Mondays, decent little song. Actor attractor is another dark and moody piece reminiscent of Say Demesne from the first album. Kind of gave me Bowie/Iggy collaboration vibes in terms of it's sound.
Oddly the one that's not sunk in yet is Tracers. Not a bad tune but not made an impact on me, yet anyways.

I think it might be the best album among the three solo records he's released so far. Such a strong set of songs.
