Official statement by Johnny regarding verified fan pre-sale for his upcoming album launch gigs: I was lucky enough to be "selected" (f**k that!) by ticketmaster to be able to purchase 2 tickets for his album launch gig next month and I can't tell how much I'm looking forward to, but I've read there're so so many fans who didn't have a luck. People who's been supporting him for years, pre-ordered his new album when it was announced had no luck. F**k ticketmaster and greey idiots who make money! Johnny was on this Radio X show last night, but I missed it. Anyone know if there's a chance I can listen to it again? |

It sounds like the lovechild of 'There Is a Light' and 'New Town Velocity'. It's acoustic-based, with jangly guitar arpeggios all over it and a synth strings break... 100% Johnny Marr. Gorgeous, gorgeous tune.

Listening to Hi Hello as I type. Intro makes me cry. What a gorgeous tune.
It has a same atmosphere as "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out".
I can't tell how much I'm looking forward to see him next week.

I didn't know that Spiral Cities was a song played a couple years ago yes - one of the tunes ive been most looking forward to it's got this chameleons - simple minds vibe to it very heavy and industrial - then that break that could only be classic Marr "Up up!...up up..." |

I went to see him on Saturday here in Dublin and it was amazing, even though he had some problems with his guitar. It's a privilege to see a living legend like him in such a small venue. The songs that I heard from his new album are very good. |
