But people I'm not hating. Nobody under 25 knows them here. And that is what sells CDs. And concert tix. Now OASIS. THEY ALL KNOW.

BE were far superior in the terms and sound to NGHFB, qualitywise thayare not in the same league with Noel, so leave them alone. Once u were in Oasis , there is just way down for u. Noel did success only because he' s better songwriter... but If he would go out of his comfort zone and tried to do a bit more rock n roll album, that would fail as well....so we got pretty mainstream daddyrock album with 2-3 brilliant songs and boring sound. Be has its strong moments...and I d say they have 3-4 really strong song...which is to me comparable with FB, so to call BE a failure is pure madness. I don' t give a shit what journalists say (most of them are sad wankers anyway)...if I was just listening to album that got 4/5 stars in NME, Q or whatever my ipad would be half full with the shitteist music ever made. I m afraid, BE will not attract any more fans... it will be just US (formerly Oasis fans ).... cause the definition of rock n roll has changed...If there is smtg like rock n roll star these days. to sum it up... I hope for the 3rd BDI album, hope guys will have fun and deliver us good music. I don' t like the 'doom n gloom' attitude here.

shinealightGood point regarding the critics ratings you are spot on! It's all taste and opinion at the end of the day ? I do think it is a good time to take a break, I haven't paid much attention to the 2nd album for some time now, I might pay it a visit and see if I can get into it this time around.

America is not the world, dude American attitude that we are. It's true we do tend to be arrogant that way. Really, America in its entirety is fairly Narcissistic.

If this were the early 2000s I would have liked to have seen Liam join some band and form one of those super groups like Audioslave or Velvet Revolver....not the same style of music obviously.
Gem and Andy are boring as hell and I think are only in it for the money....if there is any at this point.

I think they both have enough money now. Also, if you're doing something like this, you need to do it because it's fun too, and not just for the money, because that will come through.

I'm sure Beady Eye will be back after the break (sorry, couldn't help myself) and all is good in the camp. I went to a pub in Camden which Andy was Dj'ing at a couple of months ago and asked him what the band are up to now, to which he responded with a smile on his face: "this!". Jay, Liam and his brother Paul were also there but sadly I didn't get a chance to speak to them. Andy was in good spirits and seemingly full of them too! I missed his set but did find myself singing along to a Stone Roses song next to him later that night which was a bit of a moment!

People are very wrong with making judgements on Beady Eye. They're enjoying it, they're having fun, and they're friends and they don't care about you.
