If the joy is gone it usually takes like three days before things collapse naturally. The question is what's really the goal for Liam with Beady Eye. Is it really making music or is it taking a revenge on his brother or proving anything to anyone. I'd say BE was a good step forward to freeing the band out of Oasis chains and becoming something unique and cool but if the lead singer won't enjoy it, what's the point.
It's seems like no one is going to give him awards for Beady Eye records, if making music and playing it around the world doesn't satisfies him, fuck it, go home, call your brother.

As much as I'd love another Beady Eye record, I do think odds aren't good - especially given they have no management and no label. I do think they enjoy being in a band however. If I was their manager, I'd suggest they find some solid independent film and record the soundtrack for it. Soundtracks can cover a lot of artistic ground, and necessitate various textures which Beady Eye is capable of. People don't judge soundtracks on the same criteria as album releases ie no expectations for a #1 - but if they are good, you can get some solid acclaim and find audiences that previously wouldn't give you the time of day. It takes the pressure off of it being a Beady Eye release, and gives them more creative freedom than striving for the next single allows.

Talking about BE when it came out last year and especially on stage he seemed to enjoy himself perfectly fine. It seems that everything that happened after last summer and everything nobody tells us about that was not helpful. Or maybe we are overdramatizing and this now is just the announced break and no big deal. If only someone would talk to us ...

Maybe Liam'll announce the breakup at the announcement/release of Noel's album to overshadow him

$50 and a case of beer should be able to land you Beady Eye in your basement playing a 45 minute set.

"The difficult 3rd album?" I doubt it. They are finished I think. Liam needs to sing with different people now.

Beady Eye will be back. Liam won't go on as a solo act. Him, Gem and Andy are mates.
Liam would love to play in Oasis again. It's been well stated, but Noel on other hand won't be bothered to be in that type of restraint. We honestly know, Liam's bank account has taken a major hit over the last year and I'm sure it's been discussed between the Gallagher Brothers in private, but the light isn't in sight. Right now, they're doing re-masters and other works to keep money flowing in of Oasis to fix the accounts. I do think they enjoy the tease a bit, but time will tell.
I personally don't think Oasis is over. The brothers are fine and relationship improved over the five years, which is a good thing, because families in a professional setting can be extremely hurtful in relationships. Liam and Noel have had a close relationship both never will admit, but by pictures and interviews you know they are. Just over strained during the last album. Just annoyed with each other at times. I think Liam really hurt Noel's feelings on a deeper level. Liam was out of control that night and Noel can be a d*ck at times. They're not perfect, but they're brothers.

It's pathetic how far that letting sibling rivalry destroy therm I have to say I sadly agree with you. People know who Oasis are, but mention the HFB or Beady Eye and they look a little confused. Only in the UK do they still make headlines. If Oasis got back together, then they'd appear on the news again, but unfortunately, the days of Oasis-mania are generally over (except in the UK where I believe a reunion would sell out stadiums. Maybe also Argentina and some other countries known for their Oasis fanbase. But not in North America). I believe Noel is quite content with where he is right now in his life and in his music. He likes chilling out and spending time with his wife and kids and taking his own sweet time with his albums, because he's doing it for himself (of course, he likes it when he does sell lots of albums and plays to good crowds, but I don't think it's a massive priority for him anymore). I'm not so sure about Liam, especially given what's happened to Beady Eye and his personal life in the past year.

I have to be completely honest. I have no time for a band of 40 odd year olds who produce average music that has no relevance and never really interests me. If Liam & co are really enjoying themselves then I'm happy for them to carry on making music, but I just won't be buying it anymore. From a young Oasis fan, who has lost faith in a project that had so much potential.

the genesis of BDi was pretty much born out of spite towards Noel, which isn't the best motivation and reasoning, and in effect Noel may've put some sort of curse on them.
God bless.

BDI are very average. Great musicians, sub par song writers. They're done. Saw them twice and got a picture with Gem, and shook Liam's hand as I was in the front row. Saw NGHFB twice, too. Saw Oasis once. And for what it's worth, I don't think Oasis will ever reform.
