Another disappointing thing about BE were the bonus tracks were better than the ones on the album.

How exactly did you arrive at this 80% figure? A well educated guess on close observation. The whole project has been utterly mediocre. From day one the managemnent of all things musical has been nothing short of shocking. Choice of singles, lack of promotion, etc. The songs just arent up to scratch either. And Liams antics over the course have been extremely poor in the main also. Thats my view anyway. Well I would say that they have released one average album and one pretty good one with some great B sides/ Bonus tracks. They have done some great gigs and are a top live band. Liam has also had some bad ones of course not dissimilar to most of his tours with Oasis. Promotion has been poor but in fairness to the band they can only pick an manager of high regard and hope they do there job when it was clear at best they were little better than lackluster. Although it seems people here expect huge campaigns with huge appearances the truth is BE are a good little band. That's what they are. I knew Liam could act like a dick in 95' and I still know it now. That doesn't make it right but it doesn't actually affect my opinion of the band or their music. That's my view anyway.

I dont expect Liam Gallagher to be the frontman of 'a good little band'. His reputation doesnt really allow it. He is box office. Well, he was once anyway. And will never ever be again until the day Oasis reunite. That is the ultimate fact.

And will never ever be again until the day Oasis reunite. That is the ultimate fact. It may not be what you expect but it was always the likeliest outcome. A band in there 40's with a frontman loved by Oasis fans but ridiculed and hated outside of that were always going to have a tough time. Even had they written something more critically acclaimed I very much doubt it would have been much more commercially successful. So you're are telling me that Liam will be popular and back in the public eye only if Oasis reunite? Err....yeah tell us something we don't know.

My opinion on this has already been stated. Even though it won't happen, I think Beady Eye should break up and Liam should work with more acclaimed and creative musicians. 8)
I've lost my faith in Beady Eye ever releasing anything that isn't just "more of the same".

Andy recently has announced via Twitter (we live in weird times!) that he's gonna be a dad again in August. With Liam's turbulent private life and Gem not being back on his feet that long, I could imagine that maybe because of all that and things not working out as planned, they decided to take that break they had been talking about last year sooner. As I want to keep Beady Eye, at least that's what I hope.

They'll reform Oasis when Noels albumcycle has ended and he's had a few months off. Get your bucket hats, leopard loafers and air guitars ready!!

What makes people think Beady Eye are no more? They released an album one year ago. Naturally the next year is a bit of a breather and a period of rest coming. We've all gotten plenty of Beady Eye material since 2011 (2 albums, plenty of b-sides, bonus tracks and tours). I think the band is fine at the moment. They also have personal lives to live as well. Beady Eye shall return........................................ 2 albums and a another albums' worth of quality b-sides 3 albums of material in 3 years is pretty good if you ask me

Back after the break and Off at next exit are two greatest songs from Oasis from 1997 'till Beady eye.

Well, they fired management for a reason. I guess Liam and Co weren't happy with them. Maybe whoever replaces them will do better.

People on here massively exaggerate when it comes to weighing up if Beady Eye have a future.
If Beady Eye should give up on sales alone then god knows what someone like Miles Kane should do.
The problem is like people have said LG isn't happy to be a band that plays at Wolverhampton civic hall, he's a huge rock star and still a huge icon, you only have to look at the popularity of pretty green to see that is still the case.
I get more excited for a Beady Eye release than any other band these days. Maybe its a certain us against the world feel in regards to being a Beady Eye fan but that's just how I feel about it. Listening to the new Kasabian album for instance, bored me to tears.
When we get songs like Flick Of The Finger, Off At The Next Exit and Back After The Break, with LG on form there is nothing better for me, not even stuff Noel does is as interesting imo. Mainly because I feel turned off by the fact songs like What A Life are just contrived to gain popularity and just feel too generic.
The biggest hinderence to Beady Eye is like with Oasis, great songs with massive potential appeal are wasted. But it's more a case of Face The Crowd over Evil Eye instead of Hey Now over Acquiesce

Having been underwhelmed with Andy's contributions to Oasis, I've never bothered checking Ride out. Maybe I should.

I'd rather Beady Eye carried on. In no rush for an oasis reunion. It'll happen after about 4 Noel albums, so by 2092.
I know I'm heading straight to Argentina when it happens though, them lot look proper mad! Love it.
