I think a lot of people would be very embarrassed that they chastised Beady Eye.
I have always thought that a lot of people don't like Beady Eye's music simply because they hate Liam, and consider themselves team Noel. The music never had a chance, no matter how good it is or could have been.

But the reason I don't like Beady Eye has nothing to do with Liam and everything to do with the music. I like some of Liam's songs(Songbird, Boy with the Blues) and some Beady Eye songs ( Four Letter Word, FOTF, the Roller) but the rest doesn't do anything for me. |

Oh let gd read this Why? Personally I wouldn't change my opinion of anything. I wouldn't not think that Broken Arrow was amazing because it wasn't Noel. Or that For Anyone was great because it was Noel. (I don't think IPYET is a particularly good tune and they are in the same kind of category) Also to the attribution in the the OP attributing STC to Liam would actually be a black mark against him IMO. Give him something better in this fantasy. Never been a big fan of that song even back when it was just a leaked demo. Even Dream On has grown on me...but STC I don't even listen to any more. Personally I think that Liam isn't my kind of people. But my lack of passion for their music is different. I was genuinely excited about DGSS check my posts. When it didn't turn out well IMO I was way more reserved about BE. When that turned out to be not much better...I'm officially off the BDI train. I'm not a big fan of the cult of celebrity. When you stop doing shit I like I stop paying attention. End of. |

That would be a real mind blower. Apart from this thread which is just stupid, i can honestly admit that. It's shocking sometimes how Liam and BE are disrespected over here and in general. It's Noel who left the band, and it's Liam who even started Oasis and he always seemed like a icon of this band to me. I'm not saying people have to love BE music, i'm not a massive Beady Eye fan neither but come on the whole idea of keeping on making music even without Noel is really impressive. They need more respect, that's all i want to say. |
