The rest of the Beady Eye stuff is average  So strange, seriously Flick of the finger would have been an Oasis classic! should have saved it for the reunion. |

Its all opinions I suppose. I like a quite a few of there tunes.
On Flick Of The Finger, its been around since 05' or before? And wasn't on an Oasis release so it might never have been plus would it have sounded the same with Lord Noel at the helm, possibly not.

It's a good song, but not their best song ever and not the greatest in general.
It's a good opener for the album.

It's one of their few memorable tunes for me. I hated it at first but it really grew on me.
Nowhere near one of the greatest songs ever though.

I think there are alot of great Beady Eye songs and hidden gem as well... not as epic as fotf but still great...

I had a listen to it recently and realised how fucking good it is. The song could mayve analysed to be a rebirth for the band, with Liam and co grabbing your attention with the massive intro. It's almost perfect.

FOTF, for whatever reason, reminds me of the DBBT-era. I guess the stomp-driven temp wouldn't feel out of place with the TUTS and MF's of the time. Good song, one of the strongest off of BE for sure.
Best song ever? Never.
How about challenging top Oasis songs? No.
The best that BE can come up with? Probably.

the only beady eye song i would consider a 9 or even 10/10 song. it's a shame that the rest of the album is horse shit (i like soul love though).
