If this is true then holy fucking hallelujah. I'm always suspicious of these sort of tweets etc though. I hope it's true but until we get official confirmation from Noel himself then I won't be getting myself too excited just yet...

This can only be a good thing. Though he'll probably keep us all hanging by delaying the release as far as possible, that's Noel for you.....

I don't understand the second tweet?

I don't understand the second tweet? I think it just means that Noel and the guitar tutor mentioned in the tweet will have been using the same equipment/same studio for 3 months.

This reminds me of when that English band tweeted they were at the same studio as Noel back in earl 2011. History repeats itself.

He said he was going into the studio when the Christmas season was over...pretty good chance it's true. And last interview on talksport he made some sort of allusion to going back to work on Monday "making magic" He's not playing it so close to the best this time which is nice. Wonder who the teacher is...

Wonder who the teacher is... Maybe this album is so out-there and ambitious that even Noelly G himself needed a little tuition

Do we all want tracks like Freaky Teeth and Come On Outside to feature on HFB II or rather have 10-11 never heard of before tunes?

Do we all want tracks like Freaky Teeth and Come On Outside to feature on HFB II or rather have 10-11 never heard of before tunes? I'd say half should be completely fresh. That said, I'll be gutted if he messes about with The Dying Of The Light - I love that song in demo form, the guitar sounds fantastic. Guess it's half our fault for listening to them...

I have a feeling "The Dying of The Light" will be this album's "If I Had A Gun" in terms of people being unhappy with the finished version. I expect much debate on this when finally released. Personally, I find "If I Had A Gun" over produced but that's just me.

It was actually March 2011. www.nme.com/news/oasis/55665

I assume this means we're still fairly certain of a 2014 release then. I would say 75-80 % chance of a 2014 release. Most bigger artist avoid the January/February wasteland of album releases. Those albums are often buried and forgotten quickly. If you release it prior to the holiday season, it can only enhance your success level.

Apologies if this is already known, but after a wee bit of investigating on google, it can pretty much be confirmed he is definitely working on his album. Looked up the studio he worked from for his first album - State of the Ark Studios. Their official facebook page (which anyone can see) stated: "Had a great week with Noel Gallagher working on some new tracks!" www.facebook.com/StateOfTheArkStudios?ref=stream&hc_location=stream

Cant see it being released until sept/oct. Noel has his old habits now and he likes to release records in the autumn, to give his best performances for his audience then do the festival / big money leg of the tour. And beady Eye aren't done yet. It'll be the same time frame as last time : new single in the summer, album comes the fall. Exciting time ahead
