Cant see it being released until sept/oct. Noel has his old habits now and he likes to release records in the autumn, to give his best performances for his audience then do the festival / big money leg of the tour. And beady Eye aren't done yet. It'll be the same time frame as last time : new single in the summer, album comes the fall. Exciting time ahead  Would definitely agree. I couldn't see a new song until August. But one thing is for sure. We should be getting a new album by this year along with a tour. |

With Noel being a massive football fan and it being a world cup year, I reckon he will get it all done sooner rather than later and sit on it until after the world cup in June. Possibly then we will get a single in July and the rest will follow its usual course.

How many songs did we get last time counting the b-sides? Almost 20 right? Oh god, can you imagine 20 all new Noel songs at our disposals within the next year? That thought is boner inducing.

Do we all want tracks like Freaky Teeth and Come On Outside to feature on HFB II or rather have 10-11 never heard of before tunes? Ooo. I think those songs along with much of the demos released should feature in this era. I don't care if they are main tunes or b-sides, as long as they are officially, professionaly released. I was very disappointed though that the fresh songs we got on HFB all sounded very similar and then the other half we had heard for years already, just seemed bland to me. I wouldn't shrug off a 13 song album though, that seems best. |

We got TDOYAM on the 25th July (on absolute radio), fingers crossed that's the latest point that we'll have to wait for a new song this year! That would be 177 days from now lol |

Great sleuthing everyone. I think by mid-year we'll be hearing news about the album, which will drop in the fall at the earliest. And I do think half of the album will be songs we've already heard in the leaked demo. For the new songs, I hope some of the songs that would have ended up as b-sides and bonus tracks are actually album tracks (but we all know how Noel tends to pick them lol)

I was always very eager to hear the finished version of IIHAG , I am however not eager at all to get a studio version of The Dying of the Light. Mainly because the version we do have now is just about perfect and it's highly unlikely that the "finished" version will capture the same heartfeltness of the one we have, and I'm a-okay with that.
One song I'm very keen on having a studio recording of however is Bye Bye My Family, that song has incredible potential.

Couldn't stop me from listening to The Dying of the Light. What an incredible song it is. Listened to it maybe 6 times, last time about a year ago and still knew every word...Let's hope it is treated correctly in the studio. Exciting times ahead! I can't wait! |

I'm optimistic about the future of The Dying of the Light.
IIHAG we only had an unfinished soundcheck but obviously that wasn't as Noel envisioned the song in the end.
With TDOTL we have a demo which obviously has some bearing on how Noel envisions the final version being if a bit rougher.
