There is a clip of Rock and Roll Star on Instagram, voice sounds better than any of the previous times they played it! The standard statement after Beady Eye long break. and it's bullshit. The last time they played Rock 'n' Roll Star was at the Spanish festivals just after the news of Liam's lovechild came out, I personally don't think it's bullshit to say he sounds a lot better than the disaster that was the gigs from that period

SETLIST Flick of the Finger Four Letter Word Soul Love Second Bite of the Apple Morning Glory (Oasis cover) I'm Just Saying Iz Rite Rock 'n' Roll Star (Oasis cover) The Roller Bring the Light Gimme Shelter (The Rolling Stones cover) Back to 'Rock N Roll Star' & 'Morning Glory', really? I guess Live Forever would have sounded empty as fuck without the crowd singing along.

I´m dissappointed as hell .... these guys have two LPs and many B-Sides with Beady Eye and the whole Oasis catalouge minus Noel sung tunes..... why always playing the usual suspects. sure its a festival and you should entertain people, but couldn`t they be a bit braver? I´m getting tired of they same songs every time. what about a surprise like "turn up the sun" or a never heard tune like "eyeball tickler"?

I've always been dead set against Beady Eye playing Noel written Oasis tunes. Especially since LAG wrote some pretty good songs during their time in Oasis. Songs like Turn Up The Sun, Eyeball Tickler and Boy With The Blues. In a perfect world, they'd only play Beady Eye songs. It's a pride thing.

Liam singing eyeball tickler? Nah, he wouldn't ever remember the lyrics. But that is no excuse for their other songs! I don't get it either. Turn Up The Son, Boy With The Blues, Born On A Different Cloud, A Bell Will Ring, among some really good Oasis tunes and perfect for a Beady Eye gig.

I`m sorry, but what argument is "wouldn`t remember the lyrics" ?! he has the songwriter of the song in the band and the snogs was pressed and is on the internet. was that really a serious argument!?

Annoyed Start Anew has been dropped. Likewise! Definitely should be in there, its such a great song to hook new fans with. As for the RNRS vox: "yer not concerned about the wayyyy weeeee aaaaaaare" Loved that little bit, young Liam came back for a couple of seconds xD

You really think that in production they sing the entire song through and through? Maybe sometimes, but more often its recorded in pieces. Secondly, Liam is known for needing a teleprompt at gigs for the sole purpose of not needing to remember the lyrics. Usually its for covers of songs, but a few times it has been for his own bands songs. So yes, its a serious argument. I await your rebuttal.

I know, that you record in pieces, I had expirienced it myself, but with rehearsels etc. that would be no problem. He sang the whole DGSS tour and had no problem to remember the lyrics, although these songs were new and uncommon (not songs he had sung for a decade). Do you think, these guys have that much stress, that they can not rehearse some of their self written tunes from Oasis, without forgetting the lyrics? I mean its no 10 minute Pink Floyd kind of opera with that complex lyrics.

Great power behind Liam's vocals, something he's been lacking lately.

Genuinely great performance - I'm amazed that he's kept the power up for this long in the tour - it's a vocally demanding song.

Do you think, these guys have that much stress, that they can not rehearse some of their self written tunes from Oasis, without forgetting the lyrics? I mean its no 10 minute Pink Floyd kind of opera with that complex lyrics. It was quite recently that Liam was reading the lyrics for one of the major tunes. I wanna say it was for Back After The Break or Off At The Next Exit, but I can't remember. I know I commented somewhere amongst these many threads about it. And they were songs that were recently recorded and should have been properly rehearsed. I am as befuddled as you about that. It could just be that Liam has difficulty remembering lyrics. He has been known since the 90's to forget lyrics, replace lyrics with other words, or sometimes even skip entire sections of songs. Maybe all the drugs did something to his brain, I don't know. Edit: Found the session where he is reading lyrics. Apparently, it was even worse. Iz Rite was also being read.

Liam sounds top. Hope he keeps it till EU gigs. The crowd is a bit lame, I' d expect at least few individuals in the first rows to be more mad for it and not foot tapping...u know what I mean ozzies?
