they are going to perform the entire thing? Yes, in audio and video. it's audio only, unfortunately NPR is broadcasting for the USA only and vuhaus for the rest of the world. |

It's the way Itunes and Spotify handle music sharing. Once you're slotted into a particular day or time, then that's it. If you want to change a release date then you have to give them word within a week in advance. Because in the end, with any album there are a million parties involved. There are factors such as whether the artist has signed up for interviews, events, licencing. For a large act like the National, there are too many mechanism involved to push up a release date at the last second. |

All the people I know who discovered the leak have already bought the pre orders and vinyl and concert tickets. The National are making money. Nobody outside fans are seeking it out. |

meh. gotta keep it real--- guess i expected a little... more. maybe the studio versions will do it for me.
i will say this... it took a lot of balls for them to go out there and do the whole thing live before it was released. gotta give them props for that.

It's where I discovered The National 10 years ago by an accident. I was looking for new music and found they broadcast The National gig in "all songs considered". and I just saw they're streaming Husker Du box set. Since BBC radio has no longer Evening Session and Peel Session, npr.org music is the place where all the music lovers are gathering. |
